Russian hacking into Democratic files and releasing damaging information in Hillery. I just hope we don't have to go through this everytime there is a difference of opinion of what the Donakld believes and what others feel is correct..better to say nouthing till facts are clearer,,keep tweets to a minimum..stop with the knee jerk reactions that seem to get him in trouble because in most cases so far..his initial reactions are just plain wrong.

I don't believe any thinking person would mind have better relations with Russia, Putin but the truth is three Presidents tried and failed..both parties..so for Donald, try again, more power to u , but don't think the forner POTUS were idiots and incompetent..be nice but also be wary...u are now, or soon to be the POTUS ..time to start acting the part..which means being the leader of the most powerful nation in the world and the democratic countries leader and world spokesperson...unless u want to with draw from that position.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President-elect Donald Trump accepts the U.S. intelligence community's conclusion that Russia engaged in cyber attacks during the U.S. presidential election and may take action in response, his incoming chief of staff said on Sunday.

Reince Priebus said Trump believed Russia was behind the intrusions into the Democratic Party organizations, although Priebus did not clarify whether the president-elect agreed that the hacks were directed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"He accepts the fact that this particular case was entities in Russia, so that's not the issue," Priebus said on "Fox News Sunday."

It was the first acknowledgment from a senior member of the Republican president-elect's team that Trump had accepted that Russia directed the hacking and subsequent disclosure of Democratic emails during the 2016 presidential election.

Trump had rebuffed allegations that Russia was behind the hacks or was trying to help him win, saying the intrusions could have been carried out by China or a 400-pound hacker on his bed.

President-elect Donald Trump said Saturday that the only reason the hacking of the Democratic National Committee is discussed is because Democrats are "totally embarrassed" about their election loss, and he urged friendlier relations with Russia.



"Only reason the hacking of the poorly defended DNC is discussed is that the loss by the Dems was so big that they are totally embarrassed!" Trump said as part of a Saturday morning tweetstorm.



His comments came a day after the declassification of a US intelligence report that concluded Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, ordered a campaign to influence the US election and hurt Hillary Clinton's chances of winning.



Trump pointed to "gross negligence" by the DNC as the reason the hacking took place.



He also denied suggestions that the Russian hacking could have affected the election results, saying "there was absolutely no evidence that hacking affected the election results" because voting machines weren't "touched."



The US intelligence community's report concluded that Russia — led by Putin — developed a "clear preference for President-elect Trump. But it did not assess the impact that Russian activities had on the election outcome, as Business Insider's Pamela Engel reported.



The president-elect further touched on his relationship with Russia, saying that only "stupid people" and "fools" would think that having a good relationship with Russia is "bad."



"When I am President, Russia will respect us far more than they do now, and both countries will, perhaps, work together to solve some fo the many great and pressing problems and issues of the WORLD!" he tweeted.

If Trump had lost, and folks on the right started whining about the stolen tax returns and the stolen Access Hollywood tape, would you be discussing what a shame it is that stuff gets stolen and released, or would you be telling them that Trump deserved to loose because of what he did and said?  

Yes, cybersecurity is important, and an emphasis on it is long overdue.  And yes, our enemies are going to continue using the internet to meddle in our affairs.  

But nobody forced Hillary to route work emails to her own server.  Nobody forced her to take those speaking fees and say what she said.  Nobody forced Huma to route state department emails to a Yahoo account or have them stashed on her husband's computer.   I've never had a job where doing that sort of thing wouldn't get me fired.  And nobody's going to come home in a box if the sensitive information I have gets out.  Hillary and the Democrats were a special kind of stupid when it comes to security, and it does speak to their competence in the job.  Seriously, who uses the word 'password' as their password like Podesta did?  My 9 year old is smarter than that.

No, it's not in Trump's best interest to shout from the rooftops that Putin (and not the voters) put him in power.  I don't remember Obama giving credit to the guy that secretly filmed Romney saying something stupid.  And I doubt Hillary would be singing the praises of the guy who stole the Access Hollywood tape if she had won.  

But it's also no accident that Trump has a bunch of generals with combat experience in his cabinet.  These guys know full well the cost of bad or compromised intelligence.  You don't get very far in business without having a good poker face.  Let's see what happens.

Don't think there are to many generals that don't have combat experience...well actually now that I think about it..Ike was one...not even sure if he actually served with troops..[[meaning commanding small unit..usually as second / 1st lieutenant..if in Infantry branch , u seve first as commander  of platoon...learn from your non coms..]

Yes times are changing but we are still the only Super Power..no Russia is not...As the world changes we most likely will not be as influential as we have been in the past...but  as a leader in nations we do get benefits..

To make nice with Putin..[Putin as of now and the foreseeable future is Russia] is fine..possible come to a agreement on some areas of influence..say Syria..Crimia..[maybe] but at same time..to let know continued interference with our allies and ourselves by cyber warfare is over..not to be tolerated or there will be repercussions and we are more then capable to do them..[we are]

On this one...cold war was still in affect and on this one it was Krushev who instigated it by putting the warheads and missles into Cuba..he was removed from power some months later for his wrong decisions, allowed to live out his years in peace..not something that was a guarantee in the Soviet Union at this time..

The emails might not have meant anything to the Trump voters you knew. But I think it did mean something to some of them. 46% of Trump voters believed at the time this poll was taken that Pizzagate was true. Pedophilia is pretty socially unacceptable. If you believed it was true, I'd be surprised if you voted for Clinton anway.
