Charleston shooter found guilty, now onto sentencing

A jury has found Dylann Roof guilty of counts 1 to 12 in his federal trial in Charleston, South Carolina. The judge is still reading other charges. Roof confessed to killing nine people last year at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church. Roof faces 33 federal charges. He could face the death penalty.

verdict was reached in about 2h.

If only they could put a bullet in his head and throw him in the ground this evening. It could be over for families and friends before the end of the year.

How much is it going to cost for the appeals and imprisonment? Several million, if I recall correctly?

he admitted during the trial he is guilty.  The whole charade is over the death penalty. He has offered to plead guilty if they did not sentence him to death.

Death penalty trials are expensive.
