I went to Cabela's on the 24th to buy some Christmas presents, Had a Glock.40 cal. in mind. Took a hard look at .470 Nitro Express in one of the cabinets there I think it was a good buy at $ eighty nine ninety five. But I was prevented from buying any gun, Yeaaaa, the crowd at the counter was too deep with other people buying guns. I could not even get close to the counter. Just as well, if I had bought the .470 Nitro Express, my wife would have shot me with it. Oh that was $8995.99.

A Marlin model 336, 30-30 was on display there , priced at $449.95 , the one in my gun safe which is in better condition, I paid $69.00 for it.
I should make a nice profit on it when I sell.

Did you buy your 30-30 Marlin in 1930s? Because that was about last time such a rifle was $69.00. and let them buy all the rifles and pistols they want! The evil government will come to your doors with a big giant magnet and draw your guns with it! Take that prepers and all other crazy characters!

My best buy was a Colt single action army, .38 WCF. I paid $35. it is worth a couple thousand. Picked that one up in 1972.

So the current event story is just you buying? That has to be one of the most obvious click-bait topics ever- you might displace that guy from FL with the Alex Jones theories

Shortage stopped years ago. Why are you having trouble?

Shortage stopped years ago. Why are you having trouble? There were too many people in line at the counter, I did not have the time to wait. If I made a guess, I would say there were 200-300 waiting to look at buying or at the registration desks.

Shortage stopped years ago. Why are you having trouble? Around here it got better and then worse again after Obama was elected a second time. Some stuff is still pretty hard to find. I refer to it as take a look at what Walmart doesn't have to sell me. Haven't been to Cabelas in awhile but the local Bass Pro doesn't have squat. They have in fact reduced the size of the ammo section.
