considering many of these mass shooters legally obtained their guns, I'm not sure how this will help the situation.

Only active duty military should have access to automatic weapons. When we will learn that??
I'd be okay with NO ONE ex PD having more than single shooters

Unless I missed something and there are automatic weapons available? According to various news sources, they are used in various crimes inc San Bernardino. Plus you can buy AR15's in replacement parts and assemble the whole thing

I have two AR 15's and a third on its way- they are easy to assemble yourself from parts, but unless you want to do serious time in a federal pound me in the ass prison, there's no automatic option I'm aware of.

AgeOfEnlightenmentSCP , since you have some can I ask a question? How many times can it fire before reloading? It depends on the size of the magazine you choose. I bought mine (both) with pretty standard assault weapons ban-era 10 round clips, but I have several 30 round clips available and plenty of ammunition on hand. My understanding is that the largest available is 100 rounds.

oldcoyote or Sheriff Joe? Sheriff Joe. Young Coyote was too funny to turn into scary Old Coyote: Maybe you can try the old coyote eviction method. Years ago I did contact work for a slum lord, really bad part of town. The slum load had just bought this old big four story building, Fire code required that all apartment have fire rated doors, One tenant was suspected of several break ins at this building, was way behind on rent. When it came time to replace his door, Wellll, young coyote started the job too late in the day, Hmmm, got his door off, it wassssss too late in the day to finish before quitting time. Other tenants coming home after work, would look in, see something that had been stolen from them earlier. they cleaned him out. Karma is a bitch

Obviously more voters believe in his stance than yours.

One of the problems with electoral process is it can be controlled by a group of voters.
Sheriff Joe is an example of this. AZ has a large group of older voters. ( like Sun City) that happen to like the Sheriff.
Over all voter turn out in Maricopa is about 18% (subject to correction) Sun City and other senior communities have almost 100% turn out.
Which over powers the the the process simply because many people that don't like the Sheriff just don't vote.
IMHO if we were to poll the Maricopa County posters that do post here, More don't like the Sheriff than do like the Sheriff.
