I saw it on CNN earlier today. It's horrible, but what exactly would you like us to discuss about it?

The officer was shot and killed. The deceased officer leaves behind a family. The perp was caught. He will be found guilty of murder one. He will be sentenced to death. The death sentence will be carried out. The perp will cease to exist.
That should cover it.

I know we are talking Texas, but anything over three years is time wasted. Do you believe in the death penalty? In all honesty, I am not 100% in favor of the death penalty, due to too many innocents found guilty. Used to believe in it, but with age, and too many men found innocent, I had to rethink it, in most cases. Life sentence in a small cage is fine. Now the guy in Virginia, not so much. He videoed the slaughter himself. No problem with him getting the death penalty.

I do reluctantly agree with the death penalty. I also believe in appeals too. I would not mind if the DP was ended across the country as I believe a life in prison is so restricting and a far worse punishment than being put to death.

I'm waiting for all the riots in Houston - looting, turning over cars, throwing bricks at police, destroying neighborhoods, etc. Oh, wait, that's probably not going to happen - disregard this post.

Since about the late sixties when the Democratic party abandoned the white middle class. i don't think either party has done particularly well by "white middle class voters", but that wasn't my point. white people have not been subjected to systematic abuse backed by our legal system, VB. do i need to be more blunt, or will that do?
