agreed. judging by how this has gone in the past, i think she escapes this one, too. latest polls show Sanders leading in New Hampshire, however.

They are trying to figure out if the emails had any classified info in them and are trying to reclassify them as top secret now. If people were sending her classified info on a unsecured server that's not her fault.

She'll skate.
Even if she was 100% in the wrong, she'll skate.
Still my pick to be the next pres. Not that I want her in there, just that I think she will be.

I've handled classified material before, although not in an email, and it is clearly marked as to the level. You need two things to handle classified material, correct level of clearance and "need to know". I car pooled with some guys and we all had secret clearances, but we never talked about work projects because of "need to know".

There is no way. The Dems tossed her aside for Obama. And, she was younger, better looking and had much more energy. Now, she comes across a shrill battleax. She reminds too many people of their ex wife. You can pretend she will win, but she won't.

I don't know if the Teflon Princess is actually "done" yet but things in total don't look so good for her. I think people are growing increasingly tired of her. The constant disingenuous smiling, making sure she "poses" with anyone she thinks might be considered good for her, the ongoing bobble head routine when talking to people, pointing an acknowledging finger at people in the audience as if they are buddies, clapping for herself when she walks out on stage.....
Throw that on top of all the other carp and I'd say she has some real problems to deal with.
I've said it before but will double down nonetheless - it will not surprise me at this rate to have her ultimately bow out of contention due to some unspecified and mysterious health or family issues. Even though she wants this in the worst way, it would be crushing for her to LOSE the election and far better to drop out and subsequently say things like, The American would have elected me but I had to place [family, health, whatever] at the forefront.
I'm done!

The democratic party and/or the voters got enamored with a new voice and it turned out he had the political chops of W. I may not like W, but the man knows how to build colitions and pull strings. Only the ignorant haven't caught up to the fact Hillary was outplayed then and in part because the baggage from hubby was too new. She spent time as Sec. of State, she has proven her self and the deal with Obama IMO leads to her being THE candidate.
Too lazy to celebrate when you and Paul are wrong about this.

Republican party fishing expedition number 12 out of hopefully 12, all using the tax payer money they say, hah, they are so careful about spending?
If the Democratic party wants an easy talking point, total the money spent on these investigations, and start putting that out as a talking point every time a Republican candidate tells us how frugal he is with tax payer monies.

there is no reason for democrats to vote for Hillary Clinton. There are other options for the democratic candidacy. Democrats might stick with her if she were already in office, but she isnt. She is a polarizing person with tons of baggage. She is not entitled to the office. I think democrats will realize that and let her go.

No Republican party fishing expedition here. Read up on it before you make stupid comments. It was President Obama's JUSTICE DEPARTMENT THAT MADE THE ANNOUNCEMENT Looks like Kerry may have to resign and run for President again!

Yeah, more Hillary has committed crimes chatter from the conservatives that gave us Nixxon, The Reagan crime cabal, and W lying us into thousands of deaths. No one can say what these crimes are, even when asked point blank, but, by golly, she's guilty of something until proven innocent. The new American fascism. How about a show trial on FAUX Noise?

It was President Obama's JUSTICE DEPARTMENT THAT MADE THE ANNOUNCEMENT Looks like Kerry may have to resign and run for President again! I was unaware that President Obama owned the Justice Department. He may have appointed some people on it, but it is not his nor is it any Presidents. I think we the people need to be more informed. I know I am not up on all the departments and reporting relationships, but I do not think ANY President has, owns or is that in charge of the Justice Department, FBI, Intelligence community etc. Perhaps I watch too much TV and movies.
OK, so its a continuing investigation with more media OMG sound bites. And I can make stupid comments if I want to. Why should I be denied when so many indulge?

Honestly, I need more. Do I think she should have used an official server, official email? Yes. Do I think she would be less likely to be hacked then? Heck, no. Government servers are big hacker targets simply because they are government servers. Until we know what was classified, etc. its hard for me to get all that excited. I want to move on to fixing the problem - getting all US government officials on official servers and upgrading the computer infrastructure. That's going to be real tax money from unhappy tax payers is my guess.

Oh the horror! It happens way more often than the defense department will ever publicly admit, and it's always swept under the rug. Usually some poor military schmuck gets kicked out over it and that's the end of it. If any of you think charges, a public lawsuit, and jail time are coming from this I've got some awesome beach front property in Arizona I'll sell you super cheap. Donub said no one can say what law she broke. I could and did. Hillary is not some poor schmuck, she was the secretary of state and has done nothing but lie every time she has responded to the issue. I do not think jail time is coming. I think the end of her candidacy is coming.

We already know this happened with other sec of states, Romney did this, etc. Again, hard for me to get on the OMG train. It appears in my skim of the URLs I just posted is much of this is a result of a public lawsuit using the Freedom of Information act.

I need to do something useful, but this is the equivalent of the birth certificate crap. I'm being lazy and using Breitbart as a source, but it appears a conservative group started a bunch of lawsuits to get Hillary emails so the Justice dept is on it... so perhaps Optimist was somewhat right?
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judicial_Watch
Founded by conservative attorney Larry Klayman in 1994,[4] Judicial Watch came to public attention after filing 18 lawsuits against the administration of Democratic U.S. President Bill Clinton and figures in the Clinton administration. The organization received considerable financial support from prominent Clinton critics, including $7.74 million from conservative billionaire Richard Mellon Scaife.[5] This led Clinton administration officials to accuse Judicial Watch of "abusing the judicial system for partisan ends."[6] According to Judicial Watch, Clinton and top Congressional Democrats encouraged the IRS to audit them and say that an IRS agent asked them, "What do you expect when you sue the President?"[7]
Judicial Watch's consistent investigations against Democratic figures have led to accusations that the group's lawsuits are focused on being politically motivated to help Republicans rather than enforce the law.[8] However, in July 2003 Judicial Watch joined the environmental organization Sierra Club in suing the George W. Bush administration for access to minutes of Vice President Dick Cheney's Energy Task Force.[9] After several years of legal wrangling, in May, 2005 an appeals court permitted the Energy Task Force's records to remain secret.[10][11]
Breitbart site and my ISP are so I can not post. Judicial Watch supposedly files seven lawsuits concerning Hillary's emails.

DJ and Dark are right. She's going to skate through this, win the nomination, and win the presidency. She's the political beating heart of America. Jeb Bush is going to win the Republican nomination. Mr. Trump won't make it past the early primaries. He may run as an Independent, which would guarantee Ms. Clinton's victory, although it hardly matters. But until these statistical inevitabilities are manifest and your spirits crushed, it's nice to see the dream of Hope and Change briefly flourishing again in America.

Emails sent to her were not tagged as classified. In fact I'm sure she knew nothing classified should have been sent to her on an unclassified server. Anything she forwarded I assume she considered unclassified. Did you read that they are now trying to classify them as top secret? Not when she received them? WITCH HUNT along with the 8th Benghazi investigation. If only our politicians started to run the country.
