I'm INTJ, like a lot here. I always thought this one got the description for me pretty well. typelogic.com/intj.html

Interesting - I took this real quick and it gave me ENTP, which is something I've never gotten before. I always get INTJ on these things. I am definitely not an extrovert, at least not in most situations and I really don't enjoy debate... maybe it's just the mood I'm in right now?

Ok, I guess I didn't know there were 16 types of personalities defined before. Does anyone know what the -A after mine means? (I'm almost afraid to ask...)

ISTP PERSONALITY (“THE VIRTUOSO”)
VARIANT: ASSERTIVE
ROLE: EXPLORER
I can see some parts as me but sometimes it depends on the whole story not the snippet that they give you on the questionnaire.

Your Personality Type Is: ADVOCATE (INFJ-T)
(If you click on the faded text on the screen at the end of the quiz (below your result), it gives a more detailed description of your answer).

INFJ Personality (“The Advocate”)
The INFJ personality type is very rare, making up less than one percent of the population, but they nonetheless leave their mark on the world. As Diplomats (NF), they have an inborn sense of idealism and morality, but what sets them apart is the accompanying Judging (J) trait – INFJs are not idle dreamers, but people capable of taking concrete steps to realize their goals and make a lasting positive impact.

ESTJ-A (The Executive) Yep, that's me I'm an excellent organizer as well as direct and honest. I am also inflexible and stubborn. My DH sums it up in one word "Bossy". LOL

Consul ESFJ I read part of the analysis and found some of it to be wrong. Maybe recent issues have squashed that part of me.

INTP Personality (“The Logician”) Not surprised... Oh Gosh: They love patterns, and spotting discrepancies between statements could almost be described as a hobby, making it a bad idea to lie to an INTP. This makes it ironic that INTPs' word should always be taken with a grain of salt – it's not that they are dishonest, but people with the INTP personality type tend to share thoughts that are not fully developed, using others as a sounding board for ideas and theories in a debate against themselves rather than as actual conversation partners.I've been catching myself doing the bolded bit lately... I'm trying to stop doing it. No one really enjoys when I do this... except me. Well, my cats don't seem to mind when I chatter to them about something...

I got Consul ESFJ - A.
I have not read the analysis yet. I did notice the way they choose to graph(bar) your results I am pretty well, balanced only 2% to the left. (Don't tell P&M!)
Had a hard time answering the questions, especially until I realized the neutral arrow thingy was an option.

I think the last "poll" of personality types (Myers Briggs) was that the people on YMAM are made up of the less common personality types (1% - 3% of the population types) than one would be subjected to in Real Life. But, that's not too surprising considering the medium of communication AND the general topic(s).

Started reading, I think because I scored 2% towards Judging and I strive for balance, they may not know they need another box for me.
"Discussing scientific theories or debating European politics isn't likely to capture ESFJs' interest for too long. ESFJs are more concerned with fashion and their appearance, their social status and the standings of other people. Practical matters and gossip are their bread and butter, but ESFJs do their best to use their powers for good."
I actually do both. I like fashion, am working on paying more attention to social standing, but well maybe I need to read the entry that is ESFI and average them. I do practical and future matters both. I do use my powers for good, so that's something...
