What the officers did here was wrong, IMO. No excuse for destroying those cameras. The department is being sued in federal court. There is no indication anywhere in that article of what is going to happen in the future, however.

These cops should face legal consequences for destruction of private property and theft. The standards should be higher for police not lower.
