Whose bar needs waxing? Those lifeguards look pretty smooth and shiny to me.

Dudes!!! Seriously not funny. I (*sob*) am a blank canvass...there is no identity. Just...empty...space. There's nothing there to represent my vibrant personality. Just the pastel swirly background. An blank slate in an universe of wonder...

No, no. The robot... snowman... thing.
If you haven't seen the movie "Big Hero 6", the protagonist 'Hiro' reprograms his brother's "personal health provider" robot into a murderous killbot. It slaughters a warehouse full of innocent people, and Hiro realizes his mistake. He restores the robot's original programming and vows never to reconfigure it again.
Later he apologizes to the families of the robot's victims, they forgive him, and the movie ends on a high note.
Captain loves the movie.

An blank slate in an universe of wonder... Wipe your cache (there might be corruption), and if you're at work, check that the image isn't being blocked by work servers. It shouldn't be, since it's hosted on Proboards along with everybody else's avatar. But sometimes the filters block things based on filenames or file metadata too, and your company may not want you looking at Disney toons during work hours.

See, the fact the Virgil describes it as such totally tells me he and I did NOT watch the same movie. In the version I watched the only person who was killed was the older brother of the protagonist. Now yes, Hiro does end up trying to use the bot to take down his brother's killer, but his friends step in and stop him - thus preventing him from become that which he wished to destroy. It's a tale of redemption, among other things. (Shakes head sadly - so many good messages just -whoosh- right over Virgil's head).

Yeah, admittedly I kind of fell asleep during that part. So... something about programming a kill-bot and redemption. I do recall that the bad guy goes on a rampage after that, destroys a building in the middle of a press conference, probably kills a few hundred people in the process. Then Baylax flies into a black hole and discovers Sleeping Beauty or something...? Regardless, the moral of the story is clear: if you have your nemesis cornered, have your kill-bot rip his head off while the opportunity is ripe so that you aren't an accessory to the hundreds of deaths he subsequently causes.

Ok, tossed my cookies and cleared my cache. Still not there. Checked my tablet and can see it there so, yea - it's an environment issue. I'm a beta for a new virtual desktop environment we're testing. I was able to see everything fine up until yesterday. They may have changed something in the environment. I can see the help desk call now... "Company XYZ helpdesk on a recorded line, this is Sally - how may I help you today?" "My robot disappeared"
"I'm sorry ma'am, I must not of heard you correctly, would you please repeat the issue" "I lost my robot. He was on my screen the other day but now he's gone. I really miss him and don't want him getting lost"
"Ummm, ok. Can you describe your robot and why this is a help desk issue?" "Well, he looks like a big marshmallow but he has on a helmet right now and glowing red eyes because he's getting teased a lot"
"At first I though I was getting punk'd by a fellow mod on a money forum I'm on, but he insists he's innocent so it has to be the environment. Can you bring him back please?"
"Is this money forum a company sponsored platform?" "Umm, noooo....I go on the interweb during lunch and when I'm waiting for big reports to print, or when I need a mental re-set. It helps my productivity, really!!!"
"I see, I'm gonna escalate this to level two. Tony or Fred from your local team will be up to see you shortly" Thing is, I've been told to report all anomalies so this actually does qualify. Tony and Fred will want to see this because several users run web-based software and I know IT is still tweaking the filters for screening outside content. Don't know if this will help, or hurt my street cred with them. One of the reasons' I'm a beta is they identified me as an excel super user and I'm actively trying to break the environment with some of my massive spreadsheets/macros. (note - all names have been changed to protect the innocent)

I'm back bitches!!! Please allow me to take this moment to profusely apologize to our resident prank code expert, Virgil Showlion One of my IT guys took pity on me and spend some personal time checking the site that hosts my avatar against the sites that recently were added to our blocked list. Now while there is no valid business reason for me to access that site, there's no real reason to block it either. So my permissions are back ( and I may have offered to help him with some excel questions he has outstanding and needs to clear out of his que).

It's not my fault Botox... Buttmax... B... the robot went AWOL. Even assuming that is true (and I have no problem stipulating that it is) that still makes you responsible for not only your own share, but (using the total members count of 1,530) that of another 450 posters. Any way you slice it, that seems pretty selfish to me.... Let some other people screw things up too. It doesn't HAVE TO BE all about you!

30%. Sounds a bit low.
