The funny thing is that he doesn't realize how well he would fit in in a county run by Muslim idealists.

And this is happening in Florida? Gee, what a surprise, they are usually so level headed.
I know this doesn't fit your narrative, but not all liberals are anti-gun and ammo. Reasonable restrictions on weapon type doesn't mean no guns ever.
Someone should also let him know that you can't always spot a Muslim just by looking at them. The fact that he is standing in front of the Confederate flag, while spouting ignorant nonsense, really does more harm to the people trying to convey the Confederate flag as something other than a symbol for intolerance and small mindedness; it should really be their heads exploding.

Also.....there are Conservatives who's heads are "exploding". Anybody with half a brain should be upset. It doesn't matter where one stands politically.

Free advertising, Some time the best kind. Sadly, yes. I am sure he will see a huge boost in sales, and if/when a lawsuit happens fervent "defenders" of the 1st Amendment will be falling over themselves to fund his GoFundMe campaign. The irony will of course be completely lost on them.

What we need is reasonable restrictions on computers. They are used for hacking, child porn, money scams, and on and on. Teens are committing suicide due to cyber bullying. What we need is a licensing system with background checks for any computer owner. Restrictions on a computers capability would be a reasonable starting point. Reasonable restrictions on computer device type doesn't mean no computers ever.

It is not the stupid mean people that are the big problem. It is the smart good people who think they are so smart and so good that they should be telling others what to do.

I agree that MAYBE there's room for him to do what he did... I was just using your comment as a "spring board" to say I think it's wrong that he can... if he can.

Well, we have a gun shop here and if you make it past security at the door and a lot don't because it's also a shooting range, they run a check on you before they let you on the range unless you're a member and then they've already done the check on you. Not everyone gets in. When there's security at a bar not everyone gets in either. You can't just walk in and buy/look at guns. I wonder how that works? If it's legal I mean.

If you have to be a member, it's not a public storefront its a private club.

But we went in and bought/looked at guns way before we joined. We only joined to shoot.

What type of check to they run? I assume they actually enter your DL info or something into a database to search for a criminal record?

I'm not sure. I know we had to give our DL and social. I'm assuming criminal? We have a picture ID that we show to get in. But still how do you get in to just buy a gun? If they don't like how you look, you don't get on?

I can't recall how long it's been since I've seen the last one. Have you seen these at any time in the recent past ?

If you have a troublemaker... kick them out and refuse them service at all times in the future... absolutely! Refusing all of a group or class because of the actions of a few... or because you think their sexual orientation is "icky"... that's not cool.

Unless the business owners ick factor outweighs his wanting to be cool factor. Now what ? If he's willing to take the loss of sales. Maybe his standard includes more than your troublemaker standard. It's his $ loss after all.

People should be held accountable for misdeeds that THEY, personally, have done, only.
