I think police killings bother all or most of us. I think all killings do. Bad cops should be ferreted out. The best way to make change there (when needed) is to act locally, where you can have some impact. Locally my town has no cops, so we're good. I think you are crazy if you think police killings bother all of us. The killings are justified and excused with the saying, "well if he wasn't doing ---- , he wouldn't have gotten shot."

Is that similar to "well if he wasn't arrested and convicted for driving drunk the fifth time, he wouldn't be going to jail"?

However I stand by the assertion I made. Most of us are bothered by killings- police killings as well. Even when justified- and I believe most of them are- they are very troubling. Especially for the poor SOB who does the shooting. Cops get time off and counseling for this stuff. It's heavy shit.
But I do thank you for the complement. Every once in a while I worry that I might be sane/ normal.
I think you are wrong if you think the majority of the posters here are troubled by a cop killing someone. I think they believe, and often say, if the guy didn't want to get shot he shouldn't have been doing wrong. I think more are worried about who can buy cake where then who gets killed by some police man.
