Ouch, OUCH, OUCH!!!
I work over twenty floors above the ground in an office building. Sitting at my desk in my office when I notice my arm (with a suite jacket on) is burning and itching.
Go into the women's room, take off my jacket and I have two red welts spaced unevenly on my arm. Both have a little blood circle in the center.
I have tums, advil, Dayquil, and bandaids in my desk. I'm the unofficial mom nurse for the floor. Guess I'll have to add Benadryl to the list.
AARGH!
(don't scratch, don't scratch, don't scratch)

Be careful, BMX. I was bitten by something about 6 weeks ago and ended up in the ER looking like the Elephant Man. 10 days of antis, prednisone and allergy medication. Don't know what it was that bit me, but I sure reacted. Keep an eye on your bites. There are some nasty varmints out there.

The same little critter bit me last week. Twice on my left arm just above & below my elbow. Two itchy welts just showed up with little blood circles in the center. I scratched. Do you have any access to ice or a cold soda can? That usually helps me.

Not saying it's bad, but you might want to go to a walk-in clinic to have it checked. I looked for something online that fit your description, thinking it's some kind of bug bite. No exact match.

Oh, we have all kinds of spiders around here. Heck - I helped one out of the bathroom sink last week. Nice way to pay me back if that's what bit me. The soda can is helping lexxy703 - I just look like a dork sitting here holding a soda can to my arm.

Add some calamine lotion to the mix.

Put some cortizone10 crème on when I got home. It's all good.
This seems to be my summer for strange bug bites.

If any of you have access to a dry deoderant, we use it on at least mosquito bites to stop the itching. It works.

Is your building infested with vampires? *Snort* I wish. They don't need much sleep and have super strength, right? I could use some of that right now... Oh yea, the flying thing would be kinda cool too.

Imanangel, this might work. I know the chiggars, scorpions, spiders as well as the flying biters are bad there. The following might work on more than mosquitos.
Mosquito Spray
Big bottle Blue cheap mouthwash, 3 cups of Epsom salt, 3 stale 12 oz cheap beer....
Mix those three ingredients together until salt is dissolved...
Spray anywhere you sit outside, around pools, will not harm plants or flowers... Mosquitoes gone from that area for apprx. 80 days. I stray my deck all around my sitting areas twice a summer. Go out and sit in underwear all time at night and never get bit.
They leave that area you spray and will not come back. Been using this mixture last 15 years. It works. Heard about this on a Paul Harvey segment years ago, that's how I was informed about it. And it works well. All my friends that have tried it can't believe it. It works. The stronger you mix the longer it last. Mosquitoes and bugs hate it. Nice mint smell.

Where spiders are concerned, the tiny ones are as venomous as the large ones.
If the bite starts spreading red, get to the doctor.
I suggest you look up brown recluse bites and black widow bites to see if yours matches.

No, thankfully mine looks nothing like that. Bit isn't spreading either.

I always keep alcohol wipes handy for bug bites. Calms the itch immediately.
Around here the nastiest bug bite is a scorpion. Have a friend that has 12 minutes to get to ER for a nasty bite. She has terrible reactions.
