this is awesome. Boy leaves stuffed tiger at TPA, returns to a tale of tiger's big adventure A frantic call to the Tampa International Airport’s Lost and Found department came in on a Saturday morning. A 6-year-old boy named Owen, traveling to Houston with his parents, had left behind his favorite stuffed tiger, Hobbes. He was distraught, his mother said. Could the airport please help? The call set into motion a dispatch to various employees throughout the airport, including a janitorial services crew that found Hobbes near the children’s play area at Airside C and rushed it back to the Airport Operations Center. Then AOC Manager Tony D’Aiuto had an idea. Why not take the tiger on a tour while he awaits his owner’s return? D’Auito, with the help of TPA police, airlines, operations staff, the USO and others all over the airport campus, photographed Hobbes on his great adventures: outside by the air traffic control tower, buying gelato, working out at the employee gym, playing Jenga in the USO, hanging out with the firefighters, napping in a hammock by the Marriott pool, riding a luggage cart. - See more at: www.tampaairport.com/boy-leaves-stuffed-tiger-tpa-returns-tale-tigers-big-adventure#sthash.sJIPP65p.dpufand the photo gallery on the airport's FB post - link

I also like the stories and pictures of someone else's garden gnome being 'borrowed' for a while and seeing the pictures of it as it travels around the world and then mysteriously returning home.

That was great of the airline employees providing a pictorial of Hobbes on his airport adventures.
(Yes, Tenn - the roaming Gnome is very popular. There was one "kidnapped" from a garden here in my city (by friends of the gnome owner) and it was taken on some wild adventures (being passed around to other friends to take him along on their vacations).
When the gnome returned home, he had quite an album to show for himself

A friend of mine did something similar with Flat Stanley for her niece. It was super cute.
