funny! the radio station I listen too said this brawl was boss! happened just as it should have. no others were injured out side of bikers. yea there was a loss of life and that's sad - but the fight was great / epic and just between bikers.

I guess the part I question is how can a police force arrest so many, keep them in jail with high bonds, for just being in the vicinity of a crime?
A majority of the bikers have never had a felony arrest.
If this is allowed to happen, what keeps the police from arresting any group of people, hold them at high bonds, when many did nothing wrong?

Wait a minute, I just thought of a good use of this tactic, Yes, At the next Democratic convention have every one arrested for being a member of organized crime!

My understanding of what the fight was about was the bottom rocker on vests. The bandidos use "Texas" as the bottom rocker. That is the part on the back of the vest that is underneath the other things. The Bandidos do not allow anyone else to use it. If you or any other gang wants to use "Texas" as the bottom rocker you can, as long as you can defend it. Whoever it was that was the rival gang has been gaining a lot of strength and thought they would use it. Both sides going to Twin Peaks restaurant knew the situation and went there expecting trouble. It was not about drugs or territory or anything like that. It was about saying who could wear "Texas. I read this from an IAMA reddit by a biker. So take it for what its worth.

Heh. The same thing exists in the egaming community. Some get all bent out of shape if the wrong person wears the wrong logo for the wrong reasons (whatever those wrong reasons might be.) Pro teams have all sorts of swag, including attire. You probably don't want to get caught wearing the "wrong" tee shirt in the "wrong" place. Cyber warfare could break out!

people treat the constitution like toilet paper. How many posters here don't give crap about constitutional matters. Free speech is abandoned if people don't like the speech. Don't like someones religious belief, then pass a law because something else matters more. Want a war, just go and start one, nothing legal about it, but so what. These guys can be held because most Americans dont give shit about the rights we have.

Nine people were killed and 18 others were injured in this affair. I'm pretty sure there's nobody here who knows, for sure, which of those being held were involved in these shootings and which weren't. Fortunately, the laws (and any subsequent results of breaking those laws) are not decided by what we who weren't there and know only what we've read ... think.

There were only 22 police officers "ON" the scene at the time of the shooting, there are also rumors that the police gunned down most of the bikers, Hmmm, would that make it interesting?
Maybe that is the reason there almost no reports coming from the police.

Swamp, can you tell me what I am missing here? I read an update to this story. Granted, it's all a he-said, she-said at this point- but the bikers are kinda pissed because to hear some of them tell it, it was the police that showed up and started shooting-- according to them, of course. One biker said he doesn't think anyone BUT the police fired any shots.

I don't think the police are for 'serve and protect' anymore. Maybe some, maybe the majority of them, but a whole lot are nothing but criminals doing whatever they want.
