And my frugal DH just put the heat back on in the house.
It is 44 degrees outside.
Brrrr.

My heat was running today too. Not quite as cold as you are, but definitely a little chilly.

Ugh, yes, the weather has been downright bipolar lately. Saturday was nearly 90, Sunday was low 40s and miserably rainy all day. I've taken several blankets off the bed and put them back on again days later, and switched from heat to AC back to heat at work.
It seems like we are either 20 degrees above or below average, never at normal temps anymore.

We had it rather chilly the past few nights, but it seems to have moved on. Looks like a low of 60 tonight. I left the baby chicks outside for the first time tonight. I hope they're ok without their heat lamp.

I refused to turn the heat back on, sweatshirts and blankets. Once I hit summer mode, I won't go back.

I had to do that a couple days last week in spited of being fully clothed, topped with a heavy robe and wearing socks. I HATED it but refused to be miserable.

Where are you all That's crazy. Although I did notice people bundled up wearing jackets and hats at Fenway when I was watching the Red Sox game last night.

No, we don't walk away. But when we're holding on to something precious, we run.

I hope they're ok without their heat lamp. Ditto. We're putting the kids in warmer PJs instead of summer PJs. And I'm using a heavier blanket.

Well you all can keep the cold as well as the heat. Temperatures are below average here, but still nicely in the 70s, TYVM. There has to be a reason to live in a VHCOL area after all

Well it's not as hot here as in Phoenix (yikes Phil!) but I am sorry to say our unusually mellow May has yielded to a hot hot June. Low 90s in Albuquerque today. That's plenty hot enough!

DD had Senior Sleep Over at the high school and Sunday night. All the seniors camp out in the school parking lot.
A few put up tents, some borrowed family Mini-vans and put air mattresses in the back. One of DD's friends borrowed her Dad's truck and the girls used an air mattress and DD said they had about 12 blankets on top of them. They grilled out, had a bonfire etc.
Temperature on Sunday night reached a low of 41 degrees. BRR.
When DS was a Senior one of the Senior Pranks was a huge outdoor water slide-- high today 68, tomorrow 74, Friday 64 (Friday they just have Senior Breakfast, Grad Practice and then they have to leave campus anyways.
DD's actual Graduation is at Miller Park so it is not until June 20th--hopefully it will get much warmer. It was supposed to be earlier but there were conflicts with Televised Brewer's games so it got rescheduled.
I keep carrying my planters into the garage at night...I have over $250 worth of annuals...don't want to lose any of them.
DH was cleaning up one of our landscaping areas and he took out what he thought were weeds...they were perennial lilies. GRR. He is hoping he didn't pull out the roots.

It's about 65 degrees here and raining. The weather forecast for the next week says upper 80s. Not bad.

I really wish the rain would go away. My hair is pretty thick and I have an afro today now.

85 over last weekend. Rain and mid 60's monday and tuesday. Supposed to be in the 90's this weekend.
I'm looking out the window now- and it still can't decide what it's going to do today.
Very atypical for this time of year for us.

Its been super windy here - delta breeze started a few days ago and just keeps blowing. I hate wind. Normally its calm during the day and then the breeze kicks up around 6 pm.

Far enough away from the lake to NOT be cooler in summer/warmer in winter. News actually reported that May was 1.3 degrees HIGHER than avg. Could NOT tell by my heat bill.
