Welt questioned a comment I made on another thread here, which brings up a question, Every day we are bombarded with "Facts", like one today from an "authority" from the Waco gang shooting, they said that the were a thousand weapons at the crime scene, Really?? a thousand?? news.yahoo.com/shopping-area-reopens-deadly-texas-motorcycle-gang-fight-140524720.html;_ylt=A86.J3b3U11VlnkABd8nnIlQ;_ylu=X3oDMTEydGptbjBjBGNvbG8DZ3ExBHBvcwMzBHZ0aWQDQjAxMjdfMQRzZWMDc3I-Every day we get "Facts" from the media, the police, the government, politicians, and scienists that far less than the truth, lot are out and out Lies. So why do we believe anything that they say?? When Pat Tillman was killed, The story that was put out was an complete bald face lie, Who was held accountable?? In cases where police lie, we see it all the time in a profession that is held to such a high standard, why do look the other way, defend the police that are lying??

Instant reporting is rarely accurate but usually demanded.

I try to employ a healthy dose of skepticism as much as possible.

Well. since you brought up my name..... You admitted you didn't know it as fact, but relied on rumours.

How about these facts as per our government. www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/05/21/us-isis-airstrike_n_7410282.html?icid=maing-grid7|main5|dl7|sec3_lnk3%26pLid%3D-191068289 So our government now admits to killing a couple of little girls in an air strike, so now we are killing accountants, kidnapping his wife and little girls We should be so proud! Here is another little note, Scores of reports have questioned previous U.S. claims that no civilians have been killed. The most recent evidence of civilian deaths caused by the U.S.-led campaign emerged earlier this month as the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said an air raid hit a civilian village by mistake and claimed 52 lives -- including those of seven children. 118 civilians appeared to have died in the overall campaign at that point, Reuters reported. Here more of that honesty I question.

People lie.
Cops lie.
Corporate America lies.
Wall Street lies.
Bankers Lie.
Politicians lie.
The government lies.
Do you suppose we just didn't know it before because information sharing was not as easy as it is now?
Why do we tolerate people in power lying? Because the game is rigged?

Well, I did hear that one of the guns was found in a bag of chips, so maybe the chip company had some kind of special promotion going on - "Free handgun inside very bag!" and you know, a restaurant probably has a whole lot of bags of chips, so, you figure one gun per bag of chips, that starts to add up.
