ISIS threatens America with 9/11 repeat
DEBKAfile April 13, 2015, 3:41 PM (IDT)
“America thinks it’s safe because of the geographical location,” says the voiceover over a new ISIS video presentation released under the hashtag #WeWillBurnUSAgain.. “Thus you see it invades Muslim lands, and thinks that the army of jihad won’t reach in their lands. But the dream of Americans to have safety became a mirage.” America’s vulnerability to lone wolf attacks is underlined. The video reprising the 9/11 attacks on America shows beheadings of American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff and captives in Syria. It highlights the role of Ahmed Coulibaly, who murdered four Jewish hostages in a French kosher supermarket in January, but makes no mention of the Charlie Hebdo massacre on the same day."

I don't believe the U.S. is under any illusion we are safe from ISIS or any other foreign or domestic individual terrorist or group. We learned that from the first attack on the World Trade Center, Oklahoma City and the World Trade Center again.

I want to bookmark the thread for the rather lackluster response. Dezi's first sentence suggested that unless there was a 100% committment to defeat ISIS if you want to win, sounded like a reasonable statement.
The lackluster response just seemed like a blow off of his thought rather than a discussion refuting the thought. ISIS in Iraq is one thing, but then add Syria, Yemen, Paris, and other European attacks, plus our own homegrown idiot wana be terrorists, and it does need a 100% committment, and all American citizen's attention.
Does the mass media inflate the threat? I do not know for sure, but ask the citizens of Europe and the ME about whether something has to be done.

It seems ISIS has declared war on USA...not sure if we .. realize it or not....when one is at war there has to be a 100% commitment to that if one expects to win..IMHO ... ... Dezi's first sentence suggested that unless there was a 100% committment to defeat ISIS if you want to win, sounded like a reasonable statement. ... Oh, is that what you think he was saying? The sentence, which starts in the title, indicates that ISIS has declared war so when the sentence continues with "when one is at war " I thought that one was ISIS since the United States hasn't declared war. That was why I responded as I did. I find the measured response we are using against ISIS is about right for the level of concern we should have when it comes to them.

Of course we could be hit with another attack. Yes it could come from ISIS.
At this same time I am struck by this groups penchant for self aggrandizement and blustery threats. They are all about the publicity aren't they? They don't like false idols or idolatry, perhaps because they idolize themselves in social media.
I do not discount their words or threats. I think we have their number though. They like to speak very, very loudly, even though they only carry a small stick. So, we can be assured they are no longer the jv team?
