Maybe I missed it but there sure doesn't seem to be much discussion on this issue. First it's announced like it's a big deal and within a day the administration is backing off saying it's a "framework" that will be hammered out by the end of June and almost simultaneously Iran is going nutts.
Now we're hearing Iran says the deal is off unless ALL sanctions are lifted immediately. If our government actually believed they reached a deal, we're in worse shape than I thought. Iran has out-negotiated the U.S.
We need Susan Rice going on all the liberal networks telling us not to worry after all, at this juncture, what difference does it make?*
<<don't flame away - I actually know what Hillary meant and think the opposition was, as with the democrats would do, just taking advantage of the situation like any "good" politician would>>

The deal was in jeopardy days ago. Canadian news was pointing out the disconnect between US expectations and Iranian expectations this past Saturday.

if it is a really great deal, why should we NOT lift sanctions?
particularly if they can be put right back on if the deal is violated?

The Iranianswerea bit undecided but they were inclining to gree with the deal but then the Israelis started threatening them that if they don't sign, we will forcefully implement Obamacare and the "death panels". That's when they became skittish! Is anybody expecting to see results of this overnight or maybe by next week?

As I heard earlier- I admit I watched Real Time tonight- the problem with the Iran deal is convincing the religious extremists and hard-liners to go along with it- and then of course there is convincing the Iranians
Or something to that effect.
