finance.yahoo.com/news/russian-doctor-military-sciences-says Dr. Konstantin Siukov outlines two geophysically weak U.S. regions to attack in order to "combat Nato Aggression toward Russia". Russia should nuke the Yellowstone super volcano or the San Andeas Fault to trigger a natural disaster. (Just when you figure Wyoming to be safe place to hole up)

........
According to a Discovery Channel documentary, an eruption of this magnitude would bury North America, drape the atmosphere in a sulfur haze, dim sunlight, and plunge the world into a volcanic winter.

Is that even feasible to trigger a volcano with a nuclear explosion? How big of a hole would you need to create? Same with triggering a massive earthquake. Why would one trigger a potential volcanic winter? Wouldn't your own country end up also paying a price? The old MADD concept of mutually assured destruction? Both sides still have large nuclear weapon stockpiles. Would not a nuke attack on the US trigger a nuclear response even before a nuke hit either Yellowstone or the California?

Против России развертывается новая холодная война. Точнее, она не прекращалась. Запад закрепляет успехи предшествующих этапов холодной войны и начал подготовку к ее завершению. В результате Россия должна быть уничтожена. Подробнее: vpk-news.ru/articles/24405 Thought I would post this quote from the original article.

Yellowstone is a pressure release for the Earth. It could blow at anytime.
At least the weirdos are telling of their plan as if we could prevent a strike other than counter attack rockets.

And the U.S. could nuke all of northern Russia's methane fields. With the permafrost melting, methane is being released into the air and blowing craters in the landscape up there.

i am not sure there is enough energy in a nuke to affect the kind of outcome they are proposing.

I was attempting to be "cute" with my posting of the quote from the original article.
I have no idea who the author of that original piece is. I have no idea what position he actually holds in a entity I have no idea what it is or its relationship to anything official in the Russian power structure. I can't even read the original article and have to trust that someone has translated it in a way that honestly reflects what it says and means.
Therefore, I am not quite ready to say there needs to be a US preemptive strike to prevent Russia from Nuking Yellowstone!

Something like half the US stockpile of ICBMs are housed in Wyoming, and the Russians know that, and probably where the silos are located since they had recon satellites in orbit while they were being built. Wyoming would get fucked, hard, if us and Russia ever started lobbing nukes. They have to hit the Wyoming silos, hoping they can destroy those weapons before we launch them in retaliation. We pretty much have to launch them right away, figuring that if we don't they can destroy them before we get a chance. When the military runs nuclear exchange drills Wyoming is almost always obliterated. Those drills might not be accurate, but the intel guys that program them are pretty smart. (goes and crosses Wyoming off her list of places to live)

If we and Russia ever actually had a full blown nuclear exchange dying quickly would probably be a blessing. My desire is to have a missile land right on top of my head.

My desire is to have a missile land right on top of my head. Move to Colorado Springs, Washington DC, or Wyoming. Nuclear weapons aimed at population centers would be detonated at 10-20,000 feet over the area. Causes more damage that way. Only hardened targets would be struck directly, like underground command and control bunkers (colorado and site R) or ICBM silos (Wyoming, Montana, etc) Skip DC, that place is always getting destroyed by whatever aliens attack earth. And what better time for them to come than when we are busy destroying each other. Ha! you thought you could fool me Dark, but I have have seen Independance Day and Mars Attacks. I know how this works
