why it seems the USA seems to be both supporting and going against the same forces , Iran , depending where in the middle east what ever is happening is taking place..example Yemen..our support of the Saudi alliance against a Iran supported revolutionary group..yet in Iraq and Syria, supporting Iran in it's fight against ISIL / ISIS....the following article seems to explain all the reasons for pretty clearly..or as clear as the middle East happenings can be understood by we Western thinkers.. america.aljazeera.com/articles/2015/3/28/why-it-may-suit-iran-to-let-the-saudis-win-in-yemen.html

The problem is we think in the way of nations while that area thinks in the way of sectarian groups not too concerned with national boundaries. They seem to accept the idea of a national boundary until it conflicts with their beliefs. IMHO of course.
