Some of you have probably seen Jon Taffer, the in-your-face host and excutive producer of the Spike TV show Bar Rescue. Came across an interview with Taffer on Forbes web site. He had kind of an interesting take on why people are not successful. Taffer ought to know about failure. After 30 years as a successful hospitality industry business operater, he has used his experience to help over 80 owners of failing businesses keep from closing the doors.
Jon Taffer - "Nine out of ten people who are failing blame their failure on sombody else. And that is the common denominator of failure."
Hmmm - interesting observation in the context of a country where the government administration in power keeps telling the masses that the people who are not failures aren't doing enough to help those who are.

LOVE IT!!
I am the result of my own failure or success. What a novel concept! (Sort of along the line that nobody has as much interest in seeing my investment portfolio grow as me)
