*Meh* I have a husband, a 12yo, and two cats. A few little beeps are not going to push me over the edge.

I have a 10 year old whose every thought comes out of his mouth, regardless of whether there's a human listening to him or not. Any little noise might be the one that pushes me over the edge. Aside from that, it's not giving me my coffee anymore! Well, sometimes it's not. Which is even more annoying because I don't feel like it's broken enough to replace.

I cleaned up my coffee maker and packed it away. I've given up coffee and gone back to tea.I don't even like coffee.

Chocolate lover, I have something to tell you, but don't get mad. Every time I catch a glimpse of your avatar from the corner of my eye, I think it's a bowl of dog food. Not that there's anything wrong with that...............

Sounds like it's time to get a French Press! We switched, and have never looked back.
While we were in NY, my dad has a Keurig and I absolutely HATE them. Crayon dipped in hot water is just about right. I bought the darkest roast cups I could find, and used the least amount of water I could just to get half of a lousy cup of coffee with it.

From experience, you will never find one as faithful. I had one I got for free and took it traveling with us because it was so quick to drip. Nothing has come close to working as well.
I have quit coffee for tea.

The Captain I've got the cuisinart grind and brew, and love it. This is my second one! My currant one is at least over 5 yrs old.
