Beware. I just one clicked and downloaded Ariana Grande's mp3 album to my phone. I was trying to click on to hear a song excerpt and I ordered the whole album, lol.

I have "One Click" disabled (never set it up) for just that reason.

I've done this with books before. I know that with kindle books, you can just return them. Just go to "manage my content" or something similar and next to the album/song it will likely give you some options.

At least you can rock out now. How? She didn't download good Rock music... she downloaded Ariana Grande (whom I only know of because her brother was on Big Brother, and "plugged" her CONSTANTLY)

Loving the one click! Nothing like being anywhere, anytime, and "click"....book! Click! Music! Click! Ooops...everything I put in my cart I might want to buy sometime in the next century. Ok, not loving it so much all the time. I use it constantly for Kindle and other downloads. But I have learned to be careful on other shopping. Always check that cart anymore! I gotta admit, though, that banana slicer is awesome! All 27 of them. My gift list is whittled down considerably. No more boring wine or restaurant gift cards from me this year. They'll remember this one for years!

I like that song, too, Shooby. I don't have her whole album, just a couple. but that's one of them.
I know her from "sam and cat", and "victorious" on TV.

Probably because you mentioned that you liked her lol. Dd is 13 and gets mad if I like her music. And if I sing it , that really ruins it for her.

In his case, i had him listen to a bit of the song in which i felt her voice was really recognizable.. and he would know it from those same shows. it got about 3 notes in and he knew it was her and offered his opinion.. he's not really into music like i am. he only knows stuff because there are times he gets forced to listen. it's not by choice. i wonder how he can be my son sometimes, because i LOVE music of pretty much all kinds.
one day, pitbull came on and he looked at me and said.. 'pitbull mom? really?' hahahha.

I think there us really a lot of good music out there. Really talented young artists. I really like Taylor's Shake song.

I get the over the fence looks from the kid next door when I crank up Bruno Mars to garden by. My roses love him. ETA: I'm wondering if I might not have overdone The Lazy Song this past year, though. My lemon tree harvest is a bit light.

I think the kids/teens don't want to know that we adults, parents, aunts/uncles or grandparents like the same genre of music. I often get the blank stare from a teen niece or nephew if I'm singing along or dancing to some new artist they happen to like. It's like "Ew, Auntie SL - seriously? Don't you have your Rod Stewart to be happy with?"

Evanescence's latest album is my favorite.. Lost in Paradise.. love that one. I also like a group by the name of Halestorm - Familiar Taste of Poison and You Call Me a Bitch (like it's a bad thing)..
my son gets stuck listening to all my old Journey/REO/Carpenters/John Denver/Elton John/Queen too hahah.

Oh yeah Halestorm us really good. I like I heart radio. If I put in Paramore radio then it plays similar styles like Halestorm, etc.

I was up in the middle of the night (yeah, THAT'S random!) and saw him on a really old precursor to MTV when he first hit it big. He was kind of a cutie then. The Carpenters had wonderful melody, but I always think of her starving herself to death and I have a hard time enjoying their music. Irrational maybe, but there it is.

There is something so hauntingly beautiful about Karen Carpenters voice. Her death was so tragic and a great loss to the world.

I have been having some problems with amazon lately. I ordered a nice Cuisnart stock pot and it came with a small dent. And, I have purchased other NEW items that come wrapped looking like they came from a yard sale or something. I am finding this to be a disturbing trend. I recently purchased a brand new game basketball and it came just wrapped in a piece of plastic and no box. I am really annoyed so I am sending it back. I expect a NEW item to come in the NEW packaging. Anyone else having issues?

I was supposed to be here yesterday on my Prime. Wasn't. One puzzle with large easy to handle pieces destined for donation to a local senior center has no overwrap and isn't sealed. That's not going anywhere but back, and not at my expense. Oh, and I just noticed a CD case is cracked. CD seems OK, though, so we'll see.

I've not noticed anything lacking in packaging of individual items, but much lacking in how they lump things together. For example I buy 40lb bags of dog food and 20lb bags of cat litter. If I buy crackers or laundry detergent they'll put those items in the same box with the heavy items. So I end up with cracker crumbs. They're smart enough to put the laundry detergent in a sealed plastic bag, but that just means I now have a plastic bag of laundry detergent (if the bag doesn't break in transit and cover the rest of the items in detergent). I've taken to ordering my heavy items and waiting until they've shipped before I'll order any other items.
