So DH get's to work from home (basically on call) tomorrow but doesn't expect much activity. Help me decide what to sweety ask for the honey do list!!! Here are some of my ideas - how would you rank them (remember we just moved)? 1. Get washer and dryer hooked up (ummm maybe not, that would mean he'd have to move them in from the garage by himself - sigh) 2. Get lawn mowed. 3. Get all floor and ceiling air registers re-installed (I've already cleaned them) 4. Get 3-4 boxes unpacked (don't worry - there's plenty more) and dining and living room completely put together (we're almost there ) 5. Get old light fixtures, solid wood framed in door, and washer dryer take to the Habitat ReStore (I can help him load those into the trailer tonight) 6. Get pictures hung on walls 7. Install code compliant GFI outlets in our and DD's bathrooms Any other ideas?

I chose the most important (to me) and the easiest were next that would most likely get done if he still has any energy. If he gets all that done can you please send him here? My DH is out of town during the week.

(BTW laundry is ok when done in my own home, lugging everything to a laundrymat sucks!)

I'd want my washer and dryer hooked up and available.
And the GFIs installed.

Right now it would be anything to do with painting... Nah! That is one area I have no problem outsourcing to an expert. We know a guy who is FANTASTIC! He did an amazing job. He does a rag rolling technique that looks like high end wallpaper that I just love! Course, I know you just love doing it so much...but I can only handle so much fun in my life .

I'd want my washer and dryer hooked up and available. Electric dryer should be easy.
Hint with washer 1) Make sure drain hose is connected to washing machine. 2) Make sure that little clamp that connects the hose to the washer is on TIGHT! Otherwise you will have a very clean laundry room floor...the SECOND time you clean up the water. Ask me how I know this.

You obviously don't understand the concept of HONEY, do you? Honey, schmoney. I've been married for 26 years. I know EXACTLY what that means and so does he.
It sure beats"Listen buddy I've been doing most of the work around here for this move. I need you to do XY and Z or I'm going to be that woman flying around on the broom that you don't like."
