I mentioned to DH a couple of weeks ago that I was getting calls from "Rachel" again and that I was hanging up. He was very confused and we spent about 5 minutes going back and forth about how I know that Rachel isn't really from our CC company.

I got another call today from MS technical support. After having him repeat who he was, I sighed and hung up. The thing I don't understand is why they keep calling back. Do they think I'm suddenly going to be fooled the next time they call? Why do they waste their time (and mine)? Disturbing.

I read several years ago that the 'Rachel' message, including the voice, was copied by quite a few other scammer sites and they play it hoping to dupe the next caller.

I'm sure I've been called by different companies. But I'm also sure the same company has called multiple times, because they don't change their phone number, until I block it. And when I've asked them why they keep calling, they have never said this was their first call. I just don't get that.

Oh, we are being sued by the IRS! They left not one but two messages on our answering machine today. Even the kids know this is a scam - DS4 called them idiots - they kindly left their phone number in the message, so we can report them.

Another call yesterday from Rachel/Bridget at credit card services.
This time I told them any more calls = a harassment complaint at my local police dept. Doubt that will work.

So I got a call at my office from someone with a thick East Asian accent, assuring me this was a routine call about maintaining Windows on my computer. I originally said we use Macs, not PCs. He started to go on anyway, but I interrupted him and said I knew it was a scam and he should be ashamed of himself, then hung up. He called back 2 more times!

The newest phone caller id regarding a Microsoft problem on your computer, or least least on mine, is called Axis Services. Two separate calls from two different area codes and numbers. I didn't bother answering. I just looked up the phone number on 800Notes.

Hey, has anyone answered, and put them on eternal hold? If so, how did that work out? I think that's my next plan of action. I'm guessing they'll call back a few more times, but hopefully only a few more times!

I put eye drops into my BIL's eyes every night cause he had cataract surgery. Anyway I was just up there and some guy phones him about duck work. My BIL replies no ducks here but we got plenty of geese. The guy hung up on him.

Had anothr of the Microsoft calls thur afternoon. Guy's accent was SOOOO thick I only nderstood the word Microsoft. Asked to speak to someone who actually spoke English. Was hung up on.
I have tried just letting the spiel go w/spam callers (particularly Rachel & Bridget) but fairly quickly am hung up upon.

I got a telemarketer call yesterday afternoon about cheap burials. I told the woman I was already dead, she had reached me in Hell, and we were all waiting for her arrival.
She hung up.
