Several weeks ago, BB&B were having a sale on their $25 iTunes gift cards for $20. I have a slew of nieces and nephews, as does TD and all of them terminally have their phone attached to their hand, so figured that this would be a way to take care of all the Christmas presents, in mass.
Sigh.....apparently iTune cards do not work in Canada, so we need to find something today before we go up over the border. At least my family is in the US, so it's not a total waste.
TD and I are going to have a hell of a credit on our accounts!

They can create an American account and use the card. Not sure the age you purchased for--if they are teenagers I'd just give the cards, they'll figure it out. It they are younger it would be more of a pain.

All of them are in their 20s in Canada.
I'm not sure that you can create an American account in Canada because I know that the reverse is not possible. What gave me the epiphany early this morning was when we go over the border and stop at Starbucks, the free iTunes music cards that you get there will not work for us.
On the back of the card, it says that you must be 13+ and in the US. Whoops!

You can create a Canadian account--as long as you have a Canadian address to use. Same thing--I'd assume they'd use your address, or the White House...there was a UK purchase I wanted to make...I was so tempted to put down Buckingham Palace as my address.

Without me knowing it, I did create an account with the Queen's address. I needed a UK account and a friend gave me an address. He thought it was hilarious.

Mich: Once you're in Canada, you can stop at pretty much any 7/11 or Mac's Convenience Store and purchase ITunes cards there.
Where I live (Alberta) even the grocery store where I shop carries them.
