LOL - not much different than humans running on a treadmill.
At least they're getting their exercise. And it's got a lot more speed than the old vertical metal hamster wheels.
Reminds me of some of the carnival rides where you go on and come off more than a little dizzy..

They look like the size of the mouse I just trapped using a sticky trap.

You'd think that if they didn't like it, they wouldn't ever get on. They may be dumb but they know what they don't like and where they don't want to be.
I can't find it anymore but I recently happened on a video of a cheetah reserve where one of the cheetahs lies down at a man's feet, the man picks it up by its front and back paws (two to a hand) and starts winging it around like a helicopter. Then he sets it down and the next cheetah charges up to take its turn.
I don't know if the same is true for the hamsters. Combined with the fact that the hamsters could clearly get off the wheel and don't, though, it says to me that they're probably having fun.

That's how I see it too. Hamster cages often have wheels. If the hamster didn't want to get onto the wheel to run around, it wouldn't.

I think its cruel. Stop laughing..... take the stupid thing out and get them a proper wheel which doesn't damage them.
If you have these little animals you have to take care of them.

Take care of animals, yes, but 1) I don't see where either of the hamsters is injured in any way, and 2) if they don't like it, why do they get on the wheel? Why do they stay on the wheel for a minute or more when it's obvious by the end of the video that they can easily get on and off at will? Like I say, if a cheetah can love being helicoptered around by its paws, why can't a hamster love a centrifuge? Even humans go to amusement parks to be centrifuged, for Pete's sake.

Anyone else remember Hamster Dance Dot Com from the late 1990'S?
I can't help but wonder how many of us watched them entranced or was I the only one?

You do realize these littkle guys are being shaped up for their upcoming role as appetizers for that New Years Eve party being held by upper crust snow leopards from 5th avenue. Annual favorites being mice on crackers or hamsters on melba toast. Society columns indicate there is some heavy debate amongst the kitties over which wine should be served with a hamster. The head leopard complained it took several months to get the wine stain out of her coat....Meanwhile..... Rumors from the floor on Wall Street look for hamster stock to shoot up 15 to 20% by New Years Eve.

You say that jokingly, but snow leopards have put more hamsters to death than all hamster-go-rounds and vacuum cleaners combined.
