55 Tax Breaks Set to Expire by the End of the Year

I know it won't help to post this now.  Congress will continue to wait, the deadlines will pass, then items will be reinstated retroactively causing the IRS and tax preparers to scramble yet again.  But of course everyone will forget that this is the fault of their elected officials, and not those tasked to enforce the law (ie the evil IRS).

Just wanted to put this out there for other tax professionals who may need to accrue at year end for the expiring provisions.

there are some pretty big expiring and changing provisions...

As they say, the opposite of Progress is..... Congress.....
and, expect another 11th hour tax law change.... or maybe 13th, as it was this year.... by the way, IRS has already noted that "filing" season, for the rapid refund group, will be delayed a few weeks as a result of the ongoing Congressional impass and shut down it led to...
