It's a good thing I grow tomatoes in my garden every summer! Potluck, anyone?

This reminds me of a job I had at the "have it your way' burger chain. Back in the 80's a guy came in and wanted extra cheese on his burger. No problem but thats $.10 extra. Fine. Now he wants extra tomato, that was an additional $.15.
So he gets all po'd when I tell him his total, when it was clearly stated that those extra were, well, extra. He stomps out and then puts his foot right through the front glass door. He takes off, police arrive and ask which way he went.
One customer points down the road in the direction of the Super 8, and thinks he might be there since he is such a cheapskate. Police locate man and find that he is in..., wait for it.... the window glass business. He sends someone over to replace the glass. Talk about a weird turn of events, all over $.25. The tomato will get you every time...

I"m actually okay with this as I don't like tomatoes on my burgers.

I had a B.L.A.T. for lunch. (Bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado!)

No problem! Just import 'em from Israel!
Here, tomatoes are on sale for NIS 2.49 a kilo ($0.31 a pound)

I worked at a Tastee Freez in the early 90's, and if you ordered a burger that did not come with tomato there was a .25 charge to add it.
