Yes, I will probably buy some new things for spring. Right now I really want a new spring coat in a bright pretty color. Something like a short trench coat in a pretty blue or green or even polka dot would make me happy. I was scanning the clearance racks at Dress Barn and spotted the new seasons short sleeve sweaters. I won't be buying any until they go on clearance, but since I'm a woman of a certain age I need to change my style to short sleeve sweaters and light weight cardigans for year round to deal with the 'power surges'. Right now I am kinda on frugal over load and so I have to be more aware of my spending and give myself permission to get some new stuff without busting out and going crazy....

I'm actually trying to re-purpose clothes in my closet so I don't need to get anything new. If i'm not wearing it im trying to make something out of it that can be wearable. tonight I think i'm taking a long unflattering skirt and making it into a short dress.

I need to buy a new outfit to go to a wedding. I've lost weight and my dress clothes no longer look good.

C'mon, kids! So far Agathas is the only one who's decided to substitute "Clarence" for "clearance"... As we know, Clarence has special end-of-season racks of his designer clothes at really good prices ;D ;D

I will need a few things. I love 3/4 sleeve items so that I can wear them early spring and all the way thru October. I definitely need new sandals. I didn't buy any last year and the ones I have are pretty worn out, I'm actually embarrassed to wear them. I have to try on my shorts and capris, but I think I'm okay in that department. I need a swimsuit cover-up (don't have one and we are going to the beach with family). I want to keep everything I need under $200.

"I was down to two hoodies and one tee shirt for awhile." Swell, but what about pants? I was down to two hoodies, one tee shirt and one pair of jeans, does that sound better?

Oh, that reminded me that I need new sandals for the summer, too. Mine are falling apart. Last summer, I kept being afraid that I was going to be walking along and suddenly lose part of my sandal. However, me not replacing them last year had nothing to do with frugality and everything to do with being very, very picky about my footwear. I tried many pairs on during the summer and could never find any that I liked.

I realized last fall that my flip flops were falling apart, but it was too late in the season to find any. I will be buying flip flops.

Probably a few things ... been trying to get some reasonably priced cardigans to pull my look together. Yes, I watch Stacey & Clinton.
However, I pay for such things with my mad money. So, we'll see.

I will be buying a few new things for myself. Like drama, I changed shape when I had my daughter. Last year I was still in denial, but I am at 5 lbs below my pre-pregnancy weight, and I am still too big in the hips and chest for many of my old clothes. I finally rehomed a bunch of my old things that were never going to fit again, so I have closet space for some new stuff.

Yup, have to buy some new spring clothes because I got a new job in a semi professional atmosphere and have absolutley nothing to wear. Just had to buy some winter clothes for said job, got four pairs of slacks and four blouses and five sweaters, a pair of shoes and a pair of boots all off of various clearance racks for under $200. Still killed me since I hadn't received my first paycheck yet. All and all it beats folding sweaters at Kohls!

I tried to go shopping yesterday for new clothes, but nothing really struck me. I think I've lost my shopping for new clothes instinct!

Just so ya'al know...there was a big article the other day about clothing prices are going to go UP due to the bad cotton crop last year & due to the chemicals for the synthetics going up! And that was before they added the higher transportation costs (gas prices)! So if you go shopping for new items in the new collections...expect to pay more than normal!

I don't need anything, but it would be nice to buy some summer-ish dresses. I got on a dress kick this winter and bought a handful, but they are all cold weather dresses. I can get buy wearing some until at least the end of April is my guess.

Revise that shopping budget. Apparently I am going to look stunning in a shiny new red bumper this spring.

New sandals and hiking boots are a must. Any other items will be as found on the clearance/clarence rack

No, I was lucky enough to receive some nice spring clothes for the holidays as gifts. My work wardrobe's still in good shape. My casual clothes can just struggle through another year, no one sees them but me and my closest friends, anyway! No one will care that the T-shirts are starting to fade.

I need a pair of jeans. When they started looking like clown pants (I lost 20lbs when we stopped eating out), I used them to mow the grass. I just redeemed mypoints to get a new pair of work shoes. Otherwise I think no new clothes.

A few new pieces. I am considerably more selective than I used to be. As long as I maintain my standards I won't buy too much. I have to be careful when the warm weather hits. I hate winter and winter clothes, so I don't have an abundance of them. Summer is another story.
