Immediate dismissal from my company and a 2 year restriction industry-wide from working in the field. Which means your license expires and you have to re-test.

To the coworker who was fired this week, Smoking week on the job? Seriously? You're a single mom with a child to support by yourself, and you do this? WTFF !!! Maybe I'm the idiot, but who takes this kind of risk? You were with us less than four months. A prospective employer is going to ask why, dontcha think?
(FWIW, I never smelled it on her. But I did notice her nodding off at her desk, and her lapses of attention. I assumed she was just tired. Parenthood is tough. But drugging on top of it?) Or am I just mean to think this ain't right?) TD gets random drug tests (he just got called just last week) where he has 2 hours to show up at the testing facility, or he’d be fired. If he is positive, he’d be fired.

I can be randomly tested now. Even if I wasn't it's not for me. Tried it and didn't like it.
I swear somebody was smoking in the storeroom at the university. A coworker cane up to me and asked me to go stand in there because he swore he smelled pot but no way right?
It was pot and strong enough it had to have been recent.
No idea. We kept our mouths shut because we had no real proof. It was just weird.

Our company is very small, so no random testing and no pre-employment testing. That may change, though.

Dear clique:
Why does it surprise you that those of us who were not in the clique in high school don't want to do your event for the 50th class reunion. We'd rather do our own.
Signed, You didn't like my company then and probably still don't

Dear Stranger Who Hit My Car:
Thank you for making sure DD and her friend were okay. Thank you also for admitting it was entirely your fault. Some people will try to put some blame on the new driver even when it is logically impossible to be their fault.
But damn it man, really? You had to have your brain fart tonight?
Dear Universe:
Really? Fuck my life! We are supposed to be going out of town in 3 days. Why do I think they are going to look at the value of the car and write it off? Double fuck. Why did it have to be when she was driving? Why couldn't her dad or I be driving when it gets hit? That's twice. Once was another teen backing out without looking where she was going. Now this. DH keeps threatening her with mayhem if something happens to the car. She is afraid to come home.
Dear DH:
Fuck off! Seriously, you are not helping. No, I'm not cancelling her trip. It wasn't her fault. Also, don't bitch about me driving her around and picking her if she isn't allowed to take the car. We don`t live in TO where there`s a subway or a bus every 15 minutes day and night. You`re nightblind so you`re useless over 50% of the time right now. You bitch if she`s home, you bitch if she needs a drive and you bitch if she has the car. Face it, you just bitch. And someday I could be in a position to buy you out so won`t you be surprised if I give you a certified cheque and show you the door.
Signed Pissed and Overstressed Mom

mollyc Hugs to you and your daughter. If the accidents have not been her fault, your DH should lay off of her and try to encourage her that they were not her fault.

I didn’t give my kids crap when it was their fault. That’s why it’s called an accident.

DH got slammed by a teenager once. The dad was pissed till DH told him what happened. A car waved the girl into the intersection and she didn't have the life experience to know you don't blindly trust the other driver. How the chick waving didn't see DH oncoming is beyond us.

Thanks, Beth

We have a Crazy Aunt P sighting (sorta of) and a near miss in Texas. Other than Jaguar, I don't know if anyone wants to hear the story time. Let me know & I can share.

It's imperative that you share the stories. How else will we know if C.A.P. has ventured into our neighborhoods. Consider it your civic duty to keep us informed. That and she does offer some laughs on a dreary day.

It all starts with sweet Aunt J in Houston getting the dreaded phone call from Bat shit crazy. Pouring on the sugar sweetness that had Aunt J going "oh shit!". Asked her if she could use her address to get a Texas driver's license. ummmm, that's a big fat no. According to Aunt J there was a rather tense pause and then bat shit crazy told her that "they'd be stopping by to visit for awhile". Alarm bells begin to sound across the country. LOL Aunt J, being the shell shocked sweetie she is, didn't say yes, but didn't say no either. I can relate, I've been there. lol And much like me, she hung up and called my mom in a panic. Who in turn, calls me as soon as she hangs up with Aunt J. yeah, we like to play literal telephone. Because I then get online and message my cousin, Aunt J's youngest daughter telling her we gotta talk ASAP!
My brother J, my mom & I went into over drive talking to my cousins over 3-4 days. A lot of "we're going to sound crazy and even a little petty, but it's all true and you have to hear the bullshit so you can understand how you have to head it off at the pass, stay on top of it, run her off if necessary." It's easy to say "she's bat shit crazy" and everyone laughs. It's another to say "she's bat shit crazy, she literally mooned her 88 year old mother" and have everyone go "OMG!" She's bat shit crazy doesn't cover she sued my mom & tried to use us kids as witnesses FOR HER! It doesn't cover how she put things under mom's tires which led to getting security cameras. Oh and on top of she's bat shit crazy, there's a guy that no one knows anything about traveling with her. What could possibly go wrong?
Once we had sufficiently panicked everyone in Texas, we all waited. Then my cousin, because she's the smartest of all of us, instead of waiting for it all to start rolling like the rest of us idiots, had my Aunt J call bat shit crazy & tell her that she still isn't up to having anyone at the house (remember she just lost her husband of 49 years) and (the real kicker) her kids weren't comfortable with a strange man staying there, so they should just meet somewhere for lunch instead.
Which was met with (according to Aunt J) the defending sound of silence followed by some crashing (or throwing of something) and then she was hung up on. No further calls or unexpected drop by's since then.
According to the latest FB posts, they are now somewhere North of Austin & everything is WONDERFUL, anyone got $100 they can lend them?

She definitely sounds full-blown crazy. With the stories you've told us, I wouldn't put anything past her. Hopefully her "crazy" just ran him off.

Dear soon to be ex customer, Yes this was a major purchase for you, But you constant call about this is too expensive,
we want to use our old worn out piece, I need a better deal, this and that,,,now that it si in and running perfect,
You complain about how it is running,, that is you did not understand how well this work, far better than you old piece of junk,, It amazes me how you can be in business , the same business, Not have a clue how things actually work! Now the second project, you dumped on us at the last second,,, I made the decision to replace the entire piece of equipment, Cause yours was junk,,
When I did I told that I was replacing the whole thing, I know you left for vacation, I also told you to use the equipment for a while, no charge, until you get back, When you get back we will talk about it, if you don't want we will take it out, you can do something else, if you like it you can buy it,,
Why didn't you tell your manager about what is happening, She had a fit over my crew being there, Any way the second piece is in working perfect,,,, I also noticed that when you left on vacation,, you fail to leave a check!!! When it was all said and done we ended exactly in the same place on price and equipment wise as We first started,, no matter how many time you called!!!

Dear potential insured, You told me last week no one else should be listed as a driver on your policy. However, today, directly in my view to the parking lot, I see someone else drove you here in the vehicle in question. Signed, Sigh....
