What kinds?
I had mozzarella and parmesan, but I think that's it. Sad.

We had three cheese omelets for dinner, and I had brie on a crepe for lunch. That makes 4.

I put some shredded cheddar jack into the turkey meatloaf that we finished off tonight. Other than that no cheese. I usually have a salad for lunch with some gorgonzola crumbles, but I ran out a few days ago.

I had light string cheese with an apple this morning and just had a few triscuits with sharp cheddar for a little snack. Mix it up next time and have the sharp cheddar with the apple. A good combo.

cottage cheddar parmesan feta american. I'm not doing a very good job cutting cheese out of my diet and lowering my cholesterol. I had no idea I'd eaten that much cheese today, until you asked.

I've never understood the whole cheddar/apple thing. I much prefer a sliced apple with a healthy serving of peanut butter. what's the draw? oh, and Malarky - I thought of you earlier today when I was in town. my accountant is downtown, and I always book a lunch appointment so I can stop at the deli peddler on my way out lunch today was a grilled turkey and cheese on that drool-worthy scala bread.

I imagine it's the multiple different tastes of the combined food (apple and cheddar, apple and peanut butter, peanut butter and bacon, etc.).

Just like I love dried cranberries with blue cheese. i love dried cranberries and toasted pecans with goat cheese. Will have to try the dried cranberries with blue cheese.

Cream cheese (if cottage cheese counts, that one does too) Gouda on a sandwich Pecorino Romano as a snack while making dinner pepperjack as another snack while making dinner. Parmigianno reggiano on baked cauliflower
If I'd made salads, goat cheese would have been on there. I also considered cracking open something else we had, and then also baking a mini brie (a tiny one that is like 4 inches diameter) but the sheets of filo dough weren't defrosted.

I can out out most other things from my diet if necessary but cheese is going nowhere. Today was only mozzarella in my spaghetti, unfortunately. Oh, and the whatever it is cheese on McD's cheeseburgers. I had to leave my condo due to 2 showings in a row and was hungry. So sue me.

I had four kinds--a garlic jack, pepper jack, cheddar and one other one I can't remember. One thing I love grocery outlet for is that we are always trying a new kind. Someone mentioned a cheese drawer, I have a cheese shelf I might go for months without adding cheese to anything, but then we use a lot later. I also make my own cheese crackers (similar to cheeze-its) so am constantly trying different combos. Right now Fred Meyer has Tillamook cheeses for $5 for a 2 pound brick--I really like their cheese, so I'm stalking up on the different kinds (a vintage white cheddar and pepper jack combo make awesome crackers). Right now I have Havarti Havarti Dill Black Pepper White Cheddar Sharp white cheddar Super sharp cheddar Jack/garlic jack/hot pepper/cheddar blend Chipotle cheddar Emmentaler Lake Country cheese Hirten Brie Le Cremeux Ramono Cheddar Vintage white pepper jack monterey jack parmesan various cream cheeses smoked swiss gouda spicy gouda bleu cheese And that might not be it. Even right now we don't eat a lot, or every day, but it can keep a long time so I'm not worried about it (I like sharp cheddar--I'll buy medium cheddar and then just put it in the back of the fridge until it ages a year or so--no mold or anything, just gets more sharp). Looks like I need to make more crackers this weekend...! (I also love asiago, but haven't seen a brand I like--best stuff I've bought to date I got from a place in Leavenworth Washington).
