I get 30% off coupons from Kohls all the time. I never buy anything from them without a coupon.

Unfortunately, you're falling prey to their mind games. They send out those coupons to get you in the store to buy things and make you feel like you're getting a good deal.

The savvy customers know how to get the real deals. The only time I go into the store is during a power hour with a 30% off when there is a Kohls cash offer.

If I lived in the US I'd definitely have a Kohl's card!
My sister had one years ago and had let it lapse. Last summer we took DS3 there for jeans, my sister got 30% off, plus this, plus that, plus something else. Some of it was for being a new / returning customer. I think she ended up paying $11 for DS3's (already hugely discounted!) $27 pair of jeans.

The stores here are SO stupid!
They offer 15% or 30% off ONCE, and ONCE ONLY, on the day you get the card. I lost both store cards when I lost my bag in CA last summer, and closed the accounts, but never bothered to replace the cards.

Yep, I love Kohls. And I love that their 30% (or any %) coupon have little or no restrictions, and are even good on clearance prices. I always wait for a 30% if there's something I want to buy. You can always get the 30% code and use it online, if you know what you want, and I get free shipping but there is usually a code for that too. In some states you don't have to pay the balance in full to avoid interest either. Good to check and see if your state is one. I didn't know that for a long time! LOL! I think it's something like $50 or 50% of your balance, whichever is higher.

You have to watch Kohls prices. Sometimes items have better sale prices when 30 % coupons do not exist. So you may get the item cheaper with the lower sale price less 20% than the higher sale price less 30%.

My wife goes there for sales, with coupons (you can print them off from their web site) and Kohls cash from last time she was there.

"You have to watch Kohls prices. " Sometimes they advertise as a great sale which is not necessarily the lowest prices. For example, a lot of the items during black friday sale were NOT the lowest prices. There are only a few items they advertise that had really good, black friday worth prices, the rest were higher than regular times but people were buying anyway because it is easy to sell once you get the customers to the store.

I went to Kohls today to return $21 worth of items and walked out spending $100! I blame it on the lady in the parking lot that handed me her 30% off coupon that was expiring today. I had $20 in Kohls cash and my $21 return credit. I got a ton of stuff though. Kohls is one of those places I can almost always find good deals, and their clothes fit well. For $100 I got: 5 pr. Capri's 1 pr. Dress pants 2 bras 2 t shirts 1 shirt-dress 1 cami/tank 2 long sleeve T's A purse, a bracelet I think I did awesome, especially since more than half of what I bought was new spring stuff. I usually stick to shopping clearance there. (And they have TONS of clearance right now!)

Also FYI, if you have a Kohls charge card, they will give you 30% off total purchases when they are having their peel and save coupons that come in the mail. They will not require you to have the coupon with you. A manager told me to just let the cashier know you left your 30% coupon at home.
