Later.. after saying that a 4,5, or 6 year old that didn't know who won was learning disabled. That's not a blanket statement at ALL. And I'm talking about my experience with all my daughter's teams over the years. Not just my child. Even in the military the only kids who actually knew who won were the ones whose parents told them. I'll grant you once we were in hippy state it became even more prevalent, but it was always exceedingly rare for a child to know with any accuracy who won. Once they hit 7, all bets were off and sports became entirely about the score - as well it should by that age. Loop, that is not what I meant when I said that (about learning disabled)...I would hope you would realize that after "knowing" me for as long as you have. At first I said ALL kids should know how to count and then I realized that no, not all could actually will know how to count (evidenced by my own daughter)...that was earlier in the thread. I tried to explain this but you are so gung-ho on arguing with me that you can't or won't accept that either I didn't write what I meant clearly or you just want to take it the wrong way just because you want to argue with me. Later in the thread I conceded that perhaps YOUR kids don't care enough about the game to keep score. That is not the norm that I have experienced in my years of attending soccer games. And it's NOT the norm that I have experienced. There. Done. Fuck, I need coffee. And to go shopping! Have fun at work, suckas!

Waaah, I can't have pizza, alcohol or chocolate...low-carbing sucks! You can have the toppings and cheese off the pizza, and really, that's the only good part anyway.

Some places now offer low-carb or extra thin crusts. There also sugar-free chocolates available, but IMO they're pretty gross tasting.

I like thick crusts, too. I'm an equal opportunity crust-eater. PIZZA CRUSTS!!!! I can do without thin ones, they don't hold enough toppings. You should do like I tell you and only eat hand tossed or pan crusts!! I'm right and you're wrong! ;D

It's an internet argument, they're both losing points by the second. The winner, or biggest loser depending on how you look at it, is the one who can keep up the argument the longest without calling the other one a nazi. AFAIK that's the only way to truly lose.

Wow, looks like I missed all the excitment... and got a taste of what's to come! ;D Somehow I have a feeling that I'll be the one holding dh back from cussing out the ump and drying ds tears while dh says "there's no crying in baseball!"

I don't think CL can help herself. It's like salmon returning to spawn, or the swallows returning to Capistrano every year. It's just something she HAS to do.

Would now be a bad time to tell you of my experiences when DS actually did compete in chess tournaments?
