The time and date stamps seem to be out of sync? It's not yet 8pm CST yet several messages show they are posted on 1/15

it's supposed to pick up your time from your computer. And mine is displaying properly, at least on the mobile app

Everything in on GMT.
I'd like to see the "<< 1 2 3 >> ("previous page", "page numbers", "next page") buttons on the bottom of the thread ... just above the "Quick Reply" box ... as well as at the top of the thread. It would eliminate scrolling back to the top to advance to the next page.
And this Quick Reply box doesn't wrap the text I'm typing.
And when I went back to EDIT this post .... everything was on one line. It just put "br" (line breaks) wher I used the "Return" (or "Enter") key.

steady, the page indicator you see at the top of the page 'floats' down the screen with you. don't need one on the bottom too. and i'm not sure why your quick reply didn't wrap. mine did.

There's a "Create Thread" button at the top right, Swamp.

Floats? Where is it? I went on a thread with more than one page and there's no floating anything, anywhere. Also, when I hit the quote button, the whole post completely runs off the page and I can't see it or respond to it.

as for time stamps, i don't see an actual time for most of them. i see it was made x hrs (and/or) minutes ago. i set the forum default time to eastern.

It could be the skin you're using too, Weltz. I'm using the MSN Money skin, and I've noticed the layout is significantly wider than the default. That could be because the few CSS modifications I've made thus far only apply to that skin. I certainly hope I don't need to make identical changes to every single skin in this thing.

Ah, curses. It does have to be applied separately to every skin. I've applied it to all of the V- skins. Try VSilver, Weltz. It's easy on the eyes.

I thought this thread going to be about me not posting as used to> However...I want to say: 1. Why to improve whatwas good on the first place? 2. I can't post emoticon, just clicking on it and nothing happening 3. Skin of the 'improved' forum looks like a playground for tots 4. I hate it! Can I use the old version instead like MS Office gives you the option?

1. Why to improve whatwas good on the first place? Old coding technology had to be updated 2. I can't post emoticon, just clicking on it and nothing happening just trying one out.. 3. Skin of the 'improved' forum looks like a playground for tots huh? what skin are you using? the default? maybe you should try a different one- not like we don't have about 35+ to choose from. or maybe you'd like to do it yourself, since you're an obvious expert? 4. I hate it! Can I use the old version instead like MS Office gives you the option? NOPE

Ok boys and girls, suck it up buttercups. Change is just that, change. A year from now we will all LOVE the improvements and wonder how we ever managed to survive on the old format...
Moon and Virgil, everything considered I think the transition is going great!
(ETA however I can't seem to find where to put in emotioncons or spell check so I appear to be doomed - 3insert blushing emotiocon here#)

Moon and Virgil, everything considered I think the transition is going great! This. Also, just testing to see if I'm intelligent enough to quote/post in the new format.

Ok so I see the emotiocons on the quick reply bar (I do not see a full reply bar). I also do not have any emotiocons available when quoting someone. I say Virgils' other post on the spell check etc. and apologize for jumping the gun. Just excited to figure out the new format! ETA - All I know is that I have my flaming snow leapord avatar so all is right in the world (thanks Virgil!)

Well...I don't know how to change the skin! And also which skin is more like an old one? The default skin is pretty similar to the old one. I am using that now.
