I was talking to someone the other day and she said she was paying off her credit card and as she got it down she was going to lower the limit. I told her that would hurt her credit rating since she would be using a higher percentage of her available credit and it came up that I learned that here. She laughed at me and said you and your websites. So I thought about it.
I talk about money management here, I had a support site for after my surgery, a support site for quitting smoking, FitDay for my dieting and excercising, Fly Lady for keeping the house organized and kijiji and freecycle for looking for stuff for my basement. Oh ya, Face Book for keeping in touch with out of town folks.
Now this does fit because I am not buying books or magazines for these topics or stamps or phone bills to keep in touch with folks.
How many sites do you use for your life?

Well obviously here. Ebay for selling stuff. Terapeak for checking the prices on stuff that sells (or doesn't sell ) on Ebay. I tried Flylady once, but found it exhausting. I did learn a few things from her that I still use but those daily emails were just overwhelming. Pandora for listening to music while I'm doing other things - love Pandora. There may be others, but that's all that comes to mind.

Let's see. Here for learning. Facebook. Not sure why but I do lol. Hulu to watch shows that I miss. YouTube to listen to music I wanna hear. A news channel...LOVE their weather guys and keep up with their blog. And with all the dang snow this year it has been awesome. I will check out other sites for prices when we think we are gonna need/want something to get an idea. But don't buy on line. But I do use Swagbucks and then for bdays and holidays turn them in for Amazon cards...everyone here LOVES getting books. I think that is it.

I have so many websites bookmarked, I had to make folders to organize them. My folder categories are Hearing, Recipes, Gardening, Job Search, Technical sites related to my profession, Health, School (research sites), AutoCAD related sites, News, and Family websites. I still have a ton of bookmarked sites that I haven't found time to organize!

I have folders and folders of bookmarks... much better than slips of paper with all that info!
FWIW - I lowered my Discover limit, and it did not lower my credit score. I figure it really doesn't matter how high my limit is since I don't carry a balance.
