Later, try putting [ img] before the link and [ /img] after--just leave out the spaces ETA...that may not work, I don't see ".jpg" at the end of the file and my work computer won't let me open it

It's saved as a bitmap apple. Is that what the problem is?

I'm not sure--this board might not like bitmap. To change it is easy though if you can open it in "microsoft Paint" (if you have it...) Open it with paint and then select "save as" and where it shows the file type (.bmp, .jpg, etc) just select .jpg Hope it works!
