Our emergency stash of candy is a bag of Reece's. I'm can't think of any emergency that would make me put it out for public consumption. When all the other candy is gone, we'll just turn out the lights and pretend we aren't home. Of course, we already consumed the better part of a 100 count bag of candy in honor of the hurricane.

I may have to rethink my strategy. In less than two hours, we've had over 200 kids.

I bought Almond Snickers that I have decided will not be handed out. They are so damn good & I don't think the kids will appreciate them the way I will. Formerly known as a Mars bar! ETA: I see that CL beat me to it. Great Minds!

Mommy gets the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Since we don't have any young kids at home to mooch off of, apparently I am supposed to BUY plenty of Reese's cups for DH. Guess I will be hitting the after Halloween sales today, hopefully there will be some of the good stuff left.

I think we have about 12 pounds of candy. I don't feel the need to "reserve" anything. We will be eating Halloween candy until Valentine's Day.

But I did dig through the bowl and grab the peanut butter snickers for my lunch today. Those were not on sale, so not a lot of them in the bag. But boy - they are yummy!
