if any of your coworkers are actually TRYING to get you to punch them in the face? Or is it just me?

LMAO! Mine tries it every day, from the time she walks in until the time I walk out. I am working really hard at getting outta here. I consider her abuse to be my best reason for leaving.

Yes, most of them. In fact, I think there are only a few who aren't trying to get me to punch them.

I just punched an owner in the arm but he was asking for it....he says he's going to file a report but we don't have an HR department. BTW I don't hit hard and it's all in good fun. I know you are being serious here and I hope it gets better.

Thankfully, I'm in an office where I like everyone I work with. The one I wanted to punch all of the time finally transferred to a new position in a different location.
Now, there are some people I work with occasionally in different departments that if I did work with full time, I'd be much more inclined to punch.

Sometimes, the motivation you need to move on with life comes in strange forms. And sometimes, it's just plain strange.
I look at it this way: it's 40 hours of my life at the moment. I've made the decision to move on, and laid the foundation via a part-time, freelance job. I'm getting more and more work, and it's a matter of time and more hard work before I can pick up the glitter pen and scrawl those famous words, "I KWIT!" exactly where she will see it best.

I actually like most of the people I work with on a daily basis. There was one person who drove me crazy, but they fired her in Nov. so it's all good now.

Not my coworkers but the division I audit. Everytime I interact with them I either want to punch them or beat my head against the desk.

Nope I don't work at places where I hate my co-workers. I have come to realize that your work environment is as important as your responsibilities and your pay in making a decision of whether this is a job to take.

if any of your coworkers are actually TRYING to get you to punch them in the face? Or is it just me? it's not just you. I swear the lady that works next to me is trying to get me to cuss her out some days. But I just take a deep breath and think of dealing with her as practicing patience for when the baby comes. Yes, she's as bad as a toddler. No, I'm not exaggerating.

I wonder that all the time. Then I wonder who prayed for patience for me.

Don't do it MM!! All you'll get are lessons in how to be patient!!! I'm pretty sure some evil relative has been doing that to me for years, how else do you explain my youngest?

Occasionally I have to wonder the same thing. Some people are just really good at digging that knife in and twisting it at just the right moment. Even so, I have kept my cool for the most part and been able to walk away...

I told someone at work last week that they were making me stabby! I managed to walk away without inflicting any obvious damage.

Just one, but he is bad enough to make me go to the bathroom the moment he walks in -- and from there straight into an impromptu meeting just to avoid him. Fortunately he doesn't come into my department very often
