I my flannel sheets. I use them year round--I only have one set that isn't flannel. My bedroom is in the basement though so it's always nice and cool (I turn the heat down to 57 at night but my bed is always nice and warm).

Just so long as it doesn't include me, and you can post your session results on the Adult Conversation board.

Sorry, I'm a wee bit anti-social right now. A wise one once told me a Master should never divulge more to a student than they are ready to accept. Too bad, I could teach you wonders.

I managed to score an incredible set of flannel sheets last year at Tuesday morning. These sheets are soooo soft, the more I wash them, the softer they get. Now I'm ticked at myself that I only bought the ivory set, there was a set of slate blue that I should have picked up too. Same price, same brand and probably about 75% off.
During the summer, I prefer high count cotton though.

We live in Wisconsin and keep the thermostat at 60-61 at night. Therefore we usually have flannel on the bed from Oct. until May. The first couple of years DBF and I lived together he banned flannel because he claimed it "made his skin feel dry." It took a couple of years but eventually I convinced him this was ridiculous and got my flannel back.

I LOVE flannel sheets. But I can't use them, because DF is a furnace and would end up sweating all over them makes me so sad! We even sleep with a fan on all the time & he still gets hot, while I'm freezing

I love them in winter also. Has anyone tried fleece sheets? I have not tried them yet but they look so soft and fuzzy I might have to.

DH won't be put flannel sheets on the bed since he's always hot, but I do hae an electric mattress pad that I love!! The dual side controls keep us happy - I get to have warm sheets/side of the bed, and he doesn't have to have them.

My dogs barely leave room for me some nights...not fair, I pay the bills. Yeah, my cat refuses to get a job, too. We have flannel sheets, but we haven't put them on this winter because our new apartment is so warm! We have "organic" cotton sheets. I don't know what makes sheets organic, but they are so soft and cozy that I bought an extra set.

Organic cotton. Is that like synthetic nylon?

I love them in winter also. Has anyone tried fleece sheets? I have not tried them yet but they look so soft and fuzzy I might have to. I used to have flannel sheets for the winter until I married my own personal furnace. Unfortunately, he hates climbing into freezing cold sheets at night so he begged me to buy some this year. Instead, I opted for a set of king sized microfleece (or microplush) sheets from Overstock for $46. They are seriously the best sheets ever. So soft and warm and comfy. They shed a bit during the first washing but remain soft and plushy. We use them year round now, even during the summer (we usually have the central AC cranked). I thought they'd be way too hot, but they definitely aren't. I love them, and highly recommend them. I was going to buy a set for our oldest kid, but I can't justify spending the $46 for a set of twin sized sheets. (It's $46 for a set, no matter the size. King size I can justify, twin size I cannot.)

We have two sets of flannel sheets that were DH's from before I met him. I don't know what kind they are but they are rough and I don't like them at all. I put them on the bed every once in a while just to keep him quiet, but would rather have high count cotton sateen.
