I found flannel sheets on a major sale last week and bought a set... now I'm hooked! I can't believe it took me so long to try them out! Anyone else love their flannel?

I flannel sheets in the winter - be sure you only wash them in COLD water and tumble dry low - otherwise they may shrink.

I dearly love my flannel sheets. The ones I hate are satin.

Rick, I thought they'd be too warm too (which is why I didn't try them earlier) but they're not hot. They just aren't cold like cotton sheets are! You don't have to warm up a spot!

mmmm, flannel sheets! We have 5 sets: dark blue, light blue, burgundy, red plaid, and a gorgeous black-watch plaid set --I'm still kicking myself for not buying a second set of those before they discontinued them. (hey, they're for two different beds...stop looking at me like that! I can quit any time I want to )

Nah, I don't like falling out of the bed! I normally use high percale, but at least for the winter I'm now a flannel girl!

One set on the bed and one set clean in case they need changing! And then an extra set or two

I like high thread count cotton, with a heated mattress pad. Well, only heated in the winter, of course. It's sooo nice to get into a bed that's already nice and warm and cozy.

Rose said I could buy more sheets--quick, where's the nearest BB&B? ;D I like the idea of satin sheets, but the few times I've looked at them the ones I've seen have been poor quality--very heavy and coarse. Has anybody ever tried silk sheets?

I used to love the flannel ones I had growing up and kind of forgot about how comfy flannel sheets are until I went home for Christmas. I need to pick some up now!

Of course, rubber sheets mean you're having the most fun.

every time I go visit family, I'm reacquainted with Brunswick sheets - awesome year-round. sadly(?) I've got my own 850-thread-count cotton sheets that I wash/put back on the bed at my own place.

I would use my flannel sheets throughout the year but Mich insists we switch over to regular sheets in the summer when she's here. I got a couple of nice sets from Kohl's.

I hate flannel sheets, too hot and not soft enough, I use hotel quality 600 thread count polished cotton, year round...do wake up with fur babies all over the place regularily.

Oh yeah, cats and dogs quickly figure out where the comfortable spots are. Just as we don't sit on the floor regularly, they quickly realize chairs and sofas are much more comfy.

<<I hate flannel sheets, too hot and not soft enough>> My flannel sheets are the softest I have ever encountered, part of why I love them so much.
