I have an HP Photosmart C4780 printer. It is supposed to work wirelessly.
I have a Linksys Wireless G router and an HP Pavillion all in one computer Model MS225 computer.
I should be able to use my printer wirelessly but the computer is not identifying the printer. Any suggestions on what to do?

Check to see that your computer has the drivers for the printer first. They may be on a CD that came with the printer, or you can download from the web site.

Also in our case we also had to connect our printer to our wireless network.

I had a similar problem when I bought a new modem/router. My computer would not work with it, so bought a new one, then the printer wouldn't work with either, so I bought a new one. I had some trouble getting my new HP printer 8500A to work wirelessly, but finally did the install using the touch pad and entering the password thru the printer.
Technology is great as long as everything is compatible.
And I think what Carl is saying, is that your printer must be able to use your password (just like it was another computer) or it will not work.

My wireless network is the bomb! works like in the commercials - take netflix from the living room to the tablet in the bedroom - print from the laptop to the printer in another room.
in order to print on my wireless network my main computer has to be on. The laptop sends the signal to the router which is plugged into the main desktop computer which is connected to our printer. usually it doesn't work cause the printer is turned off - LOL
