I own MOS stock and I checked my portfolio today and it is gone. MOS is replaced with "Mosaic Holdings Inc" and I'm in the hole. I've tried to find some news on this and there is no explanation. Is it possible that they made it inactive while they are transitioning MOS to Mosaic Holdings? Can anyone help me figure this out? TIA

I show trades in MOS on my broker's site. There is some stuff going on yesterday and today regarding new classes of stock; breaking away from Cargill (I think); all of which would take awhile to ferret out. biz.yahoo.com/e/110525/mos8-k.htmlMy guess would be that in a day or two whatever the replaced shares are will show up in your portfolio and if you didn't intend to it right away, you could just wait it out. If you do want to it, you'll probably have to call your broker -- again, MOS is trading right now, so it's not like you are insulated from whatever good or bad thing that might be happening during the time your broker isn't showing you with a position. |
