I recieved this from a friend today and thought I would share.
Last night I couldn't get to sleep and was flipping thru channels to get to the financial news. And there it was....one of those commercials just a tad shorter than "Roots". I missed out on the whole Snuggie mania, and I'm a bit shamefaced to admit I don't own a Sham Wow! (I found a Sham Golly Gee Whiz at a garage sale but I'm a bit suspect it was just a shrewed marketing knock off by the woman hosting the sale.....I KNOW what a Slap Chop looks like, and three mismatched paring knives bound together with duct tape ain't it, lady, but it WAS just 75 cents so what the hell....never to early for that Christmas shopping!) Anyway.....I watched in awe as I was intoduced to the Robo Stir! Yes, a battery opoerated Korean satellite looking device that stirs the pot! You can now throw together a Bernaise, set it to low, and watch back to back episodes of Rachel Ray doing her impersonation of Julia Child possessed by Gidget. You, too, can have a kitchen that will amaze your friends with your cooking expertise, as well as your gullibility and laziness. No more back breaking seconds laboring over a glowng ceramic cooktop, wondering and worrying "Is it clockwise? Counterclockwise? Should I be using a wooden spoon? A whisk? Did I say any of this out loud and could anyone hear me?" I poked my husband and said "You have GOT to see this!" And it turns out he had seen it. And seemed delighted that I was so taken with the product that I woke him. He reminded me that one day in June of 1987 when he was in the kitchen I asked him to stir something while I was busy with another task (I believe that was the day our kid got her head caught in stairway railing and SOMEONE had to let the fire department in!) so he knew it was something I could appreciate. My birthday is just days away. Are you kidding me?!?!?

Is that similar to "As Seen on TV" products? I'd love to know if those purse organizers work. I am always struggling to find something in mine. Does anybody have one or know of anyone who does?

Ruby, don't waste your money. They don't really work. I'm always trying to find ways to make my purse lighter, and that just added to the weight. And then I found I was putting stuff in between the organizer and the purse. Besides, changing purses is the way I purge all those things I didn't think I could leave the house without, and managed to not use any of it at all. Best one I've ever bought was the pedegg. Luv it

Ruby: I use a ziplock sandwich bag to hold all the cards that clutter my purse and then everything else seems to fit.

I saw that robo-stir thingy. It really looked cool, a little "war of the world-ish but cool. I will do without though. LOL
