It's after 10pm, I can feel the a/c running...going to go switch it to heat shortly. We had a high in the upper 70's today & more of the same tomorrow before our bottom drops out again. It's currently 62º outside.

Oh, my word! You all certainly don't live in my area! Utah = Too damn cold! (24ºF) Snowstorm came through today. I heard the snowplow go down my street 3 times this afternoon/evening, and once or twice since. I heard quite a few roads (hiways & interstate) were closed -not just canyon roads to the ski resorts. People were asked not to drive unless they had to. Me? I'm frail (bwahaha ), I stayed inside.

It hasn't stopped raining for 36 hours.
Our pond is overflowing its spillway.
Hasn't happened in about 5 years.
Supposed to be about 50° today, 28° tonight.
Had to park out by the road last night, and hike it in to the house.
Driveways too soft for the dw's car to make it.
Should of used the truck, lol.

Did you have to walk in mud, to get to your house? (Doesn't sound like sidewalk). Yikes! But it does sound like nice property!

Although it was cold, at least it was sunny today. -Then a pigeon pooped on my clean car. -sigh. Years ago, when I was dating DH2 (before we married), he was driving my car, the sunroof was open, and just as he pulled out on to a busy street, a bird poop hit him on the head and knocked his sunglasses off! OMG! There was so much poop! I was laughing so hard I ended up on the floor of the car, laughing. →It still makes me laugh to think about it! - One of the funniest times I can remember with him. bwahaha.... At least that didn't happen today.

Oh, yeah. I agree with you on that. 98 is tooooo hot. Depending on what I'm doing, I prefer the 70's. But 83 sounds better to me than 23. I don't deal with either extreme nearly as well as I used to. Stay cool! (comfy)

Usually anywhere there are roots in the ground from plants, is safe and supports your body weight. Pasture, basically. We ended up with 4.5" of rain over a 36 hour period. Sun just came out about two hours ago, yea !

Toronto Snow this morning, freezing rain this afternoon, now more snow.
"A winter storm continues tonight.
Snow has redeveloped over the area. An additional 5 cm of snow is expected tonight. Visibilities have improved this evening however local blowing snow is likely later this evening along with the snow.
Earlier freezing rain has resulted in ice build-up of 5 to 10 mm on many surfaces. Easterly winds have eased somewhat however winds gusting near 60 km/h are expected through tonight. Southwesterly winds gusting near 60 km/h are also expected to develop overnight.
This ice build-up combined with strong wind gusts may cause tree branches to break, possibly resulting in power outages."

I have officially reached my optimum skin tanning color for the winter. Do not want to get any darker, so will stay away from the community pool unless I am wearing a shirt. My only shortcoming is I do not use any tanning lotions other than my forehead and nose, so I do have to build it up naturally a couple of hours a day in the winter, about four days a week while the sun is still low on the horizon. We had the airconditioning on today for the first time in a month. Last month's electric bill was $54.34, running the electric stove, frigerator and televisions and still cheaper than back home where the house is empty. Tomorrow a cold front comes through and the high will be in the high 60's for the day. BRRRR!

On the news last night they said we would get 3 inches of rain today. I think they must have misread something since I don't think we'll even get 0.3 inches
