I'm cringing at the thought of a bare ass on a bicycle seat.

I think yesterday was supposed to be the World Naked Bike Ride Day in San Francisco. Don't know if you're there, or elsewhere, but maybe it was postponed for some reason, or on a different day where you are.

I think some cities are doing it today too. It's supposedly to raise money for various charilties. In my case, I'd gladly pay to have them leave their clothes on. ;D

One rider was dressed and had a sign on that said "you really do t want to see me naked".
Not a particularly warm day either....in the low 60s.

Tall Guy told me about that. It is a yearly event in Seattle. It's been going on for ages. You can google pictures of it. TG sent me a link once. I'm still traumatized!

Aw, I had no idea. I rode my bike yesterday, and missed that.
Just as well. Those seats are not that comfy with the proper shorts on. Never mind no shorts. Ow, Ow, Ow.

Actually, the 24th (?) annual Fremont Solstice Parade is this Saturday, the 16th. It is a quirky little fun neighborhood parade open to anybody. There have been naked cyclists for about 20 years. I went for the first time last year. I had arranged a first date with a new woman, and she called back to see if we could postpone until later in the day. She hadn't realized the parade was that morning and it was one of her favorite events. I suggested that we go together, since I had never been.... The parade started off with several hundred "painted" cyclists, mostly nude or partially nude (although it's not mandatory) riding slowly back and forth for between 30-45 minutes. It's a far cry from the beginning when a few riders raced through trying to avoid being arrested.... ;D www.solsticecyclist.org/

This is what happens when there is too much caffeine in the environment. The UK was having some big ride naked event today, so maybe that was the local support team. If the sun's out, 60 degrees is considered summer on this side of the mountains :-) I'm sure you saw lots of people hanging out in shorts today too!

Or this week. My friends invited us to their condo this week. Unfortunately, looks like we'll have to postpone until next year as it's impossible for me to go right now.
