Replace "Jane" with "Stone Cold Steve" and I'm sure you'll have better luck.

The movie in which Brad Pitt played death and talked about peanut butter a lot. 3 hours of slow torture.

Archie, Do you mean "Meet Joe Black"? The movie was too long and very boring. I like Meet Joe Black just because Claire Forlani is so darn pretty on the eyes.

Is she the actress on Burn Notice now?
Titanic was so long and boring I wanted to poke my eyes out. As were Legends of the Fall and the not at all curious case of Benjamin Button. Brad Pitt really makes some stinkers.

I just saw The Kids Are All Right, cute movie lots of interesting dynamics to explore that weren't fleshed out. I can see another movie similar to this with a more completel portrait of having two Mommys.

I'm assuming by that you mean "more girl on girl action"?

Just the other day I watched a classic on one of the oldies channels. I think the name of it was "Since you went away". Even though I had seen it 4 or 5 times before at the end of it I was shocked at how good it was. I'll also say that the acting was outstanding & that there are big named actors today that couldn't play some of the emotional scene's even half as good. Well worth your time if you get a chance to see it.

Claudette Colbert, Shirley Temple, Jennifer Jones-awesome cast. Plus the supporters were also fantastic.

If you can appreciate a fusion of Bollywood, Hollywood, and London film-making styles I'd recommend Bride and Prejudice.
It's not serious but wonderful escapist fun.

I love Meet Joe Black. One of my favorites.
DH & I watched Magnolia because we'd heard such raves about it. We kept waiting for the movie to get even remotely watchable. Now when we find ourselves watching a much hailed (but in our opinion...BAD) movie, we'll look at each other & say, "if it starts raining frogs...we're outta here!"

I hate the new movie endings. If I wanted to feel down I would bother going to the movies (or I would sit there & think about how much I paid for popcorn at the movie & how much popcorn that would have bought at home.)

Brad Pitt was so funny in Burn After Reading. I know lots of people didn't care for that movie, but so far the only Cohen Bros movie I didn't like was their remake of The Ladykillers. The original was hilarious. I don't think I made it thru 15 minutes of the remake.
