She could come into something if she is decent...otherwise O has financial sense not to give her anything.

Oprah's half sibling. You only win the lotto once and it's only money. With Oprah you would have many opportunities for fascinating jobs and meeting interesting people. I'm nice enough that she would ask me to move in

Powerball. I've got the discipline to handle the money and I have no interest in having anything to do with Oprah or whatever pseudo fame that could come from that. Plus with Powerball, I could buy my OWN Twinkies.

Powerball
I enjoy some of Oprah's programs - but I suspect that in real life she'd be phony and arrogant. Wouldn't want to have to tiptoe around her.

Actually, I should clarify -- it would depend on the amount I would win in powerball.

Oprah has MORE money than any PowerBall. [Interesting, that one person could have that much money on the planet]

Oprah may have more money, but that doesn't mean she's going to give it to me. If I would only win a couple million in a powerball, I'd probably go with half-sibiling -- not necessarily because she's going to give me wads of cash, but it would be interesting to be related to her, and I'm sure it would open up a lot of doors.
If it was a $100m powerball, I'd rather have the money.

If I could walk away with $20m in my pocket, I'd probably do that. If I could walk away with $10+m, I'd have to give it a lot of thought

Apparently, the woman has known since 2007. Oprah was mighty impressed that she hadn't used the info for monetary gain.

I'd pick Powerball. If I started hanging around with Oprah, it might make Gail jealous.

Powerball - why would I desire to be related to Oprah? Nothing againt her - just nothing particularly interesting in being related to her.

Why would you think so? I have some uber wealthy family, but other than knowing I won't be homeless they don't give me money. What access do you think Oprah's sister will get?

I'm ugly enough without having half of Oprah's genetic material, so I'll take the powerball winnings.

I'd expect that I'd get to meet pepole while spending time hanging out with Oprah. It's not just that she's rich, it's that she knows everybody. Hell, she launched the political career of the President. Plus people would want to get to know me, thinking that they might get access to Oprah that way.

I suspect Oprah does not mingleher family with her business and political connections. Much like Noelle Bush did not get invited to the state dinners.
