What about: d) Returning home to find out what the area is left looking like after a SB?
Seriously - I'm so tired of our nightly news leading in with what new changes to "Jerry's House" has been done today. Ummm.....other things have happened in the world today besides what changes to that monstrosity was made today!!!

See....you guys are missing the point...I, a native cheesehead, am a Packer fan (the winners of course) and he, a native Pennsylvanian ( Pennsylvanian does not sound as cool as cheesehead) is a Steeler fan. The whole point of my OP revolves around all out war...not food! NQTY: I guess I am out of the loop, as I have no idea what the thing is about "Jerry's House" I am guessing I am not missing anything!

Cheesy; congrats on your team making to the Super Bowl. I'm no Jets fan even though I live in NY, so I had only a passing interest in their game against the Steelers. I wish you luck, and this looks to be a competitive game. BTW; no offense, but I'm glad I won't be watching the game at your house. I think it's safer to stay on the other end of the country.

Cheesy - I got it....I just couldn't figure out a witty remark although I'll admit I was laughing.
"Jerry's House" is the nick of Cowboys Stadium in Arlington where the Super Bowl will be played (Jerry Jones is the owner of the Cowboys). It's not a nick necessarily used in loving terms. I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area (Arlington is almost directly between the two cities) and ever since we were awarded the Superbowl, it's all they've been talking about around here. At least once a week for the past 2 years, something SB related has been on the news. How this city is vying for the best parties, what that city is doing to help with transportation, that city over there is complaining that these other cities are getting all of the attention....blah, blah, blah....
Not to mention everything revolving around the Cowboys this year and what they needed to do to make it to the SB in their own stadium (they lost the very first opening game in the new stadium and people around here expected them to win the SB??).
I'll watch the game (I always do), and I'll be rooting for the Packers (as I like them more than the Steelers), but I'm ready for the whole thing to be over with (which it won't be - we'll get at least another month worth of stories about how much money the whole thing brought to our area, blah, blah, blah).
Sorry for my cynicism.

Yes it is. Most Cowboy fans around here are fair weather fans - but you'd better not be dissing them if you're not a fan yourself! DH and the kids are equally laughing at me when I kick them off the big TV to watch a game. I'm whooping and hollering when they're doing great and cussing them out a blue streak when they're not.

My boss is a Bears fan and my best friend is a Jets fan. I am just glad neither of them made the SB.

My boss is a Bears fan and my best friend is a Jets fan. I am just glad neither of them made the SB. So far, the Jets fans at work have taken this loss better than last years. I don't know why, because I really though they could have won yesterday. Of course I thought that before the game started. What a mess that turned out to be.

Packer backer here. I might be a native cheesehead. Or not. I was born on the Michigan side of the state line because that's where the hospital was, but my parents took me home to the Wisconsin side. So am I a native cheesehead or a native Michigander? Michigoose?
Cheesy, probably not good to come to blows over a football "game"...maybe he could watch it at a friend's house.

;D I just popped in on NoBobs and there seems to be a Packer/Steeler rivalry going on there too. Hog is down south and Mzz is from Wisconsin..... thank goodness they are far enough apart that no harm will come to Hog......... ;D.
I will be rooting for Green Bay because I like the cheese heads and don't look good in grey.

Cheesy I think your superbowl food should have a packers theme A lot of people in WV like the Steelers. Never liked them. Spent 8 years living just shy of the PA line and an hour south of Pittsburgh still don't like them. My mom's from Texas. I've liked the Cowboys since I started watching football. But yeah they absolutely sucked this year. I don't know how you expect to win games without any intensity or drive.
