I've yet to be able to find restaurants in my area that I can use. Hopefully with more competition, maybe I'll be able to find something useful! Thanks for the article.

Me either! We are in a small town so there is nothing on those sites for us. Sometimes they have deals that can be used online. I got a groupon to soap.com once, ($50.00 of products for $25.00). Yesterday Living Social had a deal of a $20.00 Amazon gift card for $10.00

I've used Groupon twice ~ so far. The first time, I used it to get a photo enlarged and printed on canvas (and I was very happy with it!) The second time, we got a substantial discount at a restaurant we really like ~ the restaurant where we held our Rehearsal Dinner back in 2003. But a lot of the Groupon Coupon deals are for things that just don't interest me ~ or that aren't planned for in my budget. (There are a lot of spas, nail services, health clubs, massages, boutiquey stores ... which haven't tempted me, so far!)
